    摘要: A liquid crystal display having specific dispositions of pixels of a liquid crystal display so as to prevent the coupling defect and the stripe defect in high speed driving. The liquid crystal display includes a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix shape, a switching element connected to each pixel, data lines and gate lines connected to the switching elements, and a data driver generating data voltages and applying the data voltages to the data lines. The data lines are disposed at both sides of the pixels in pairs, and data voltages of the same magnitude with different polarities are applied to the pairs of data lines. In this manner, preventing the coupling defect and the stripe defect, high speed driving can be performed.

The elongated portion is disposed between the two hand conductive regions of the second conductive region. The amorphous-silicon TFT and the shift resister having the amorphous TFT reduce a parasitic capacitance between the gate electrode and drain electrode.
