    摘要: A first pilot signal is transmitted at a first frequency for a first coverage area (e.g., an outdoor area). A second pilot signal is transmitted at a second frequency for a second coverage area (e.g., an indoor area). The first pilot signal at the second frequency is transmitted into a portion of the second coverage area, the second coverage area at least overlapping with the first coverage area. Further, the first pilot signal is transmitted at the second frequency in the second coverage area. In an example, the first pilot signal at the first frequency is transmitted from an outdoor base station, the second pilot signal at the second frequency is transmitted by an indoor base station, the first pilot signal at the second frequency is transmitted into the second coverage area (e.g., an interior of a building from a building exit point) by an antenna (e.g., not necessarily at a base station) and the second pilot signal at the first frequency is transmitted by the indoor base station. The pilot signal configuration discussed above may facilitate call handoffs between the first and second coverage areas. For example, if the first coverage area is an outdoor area and the second coverage area is a building interior, the example pilot signal configuration may reduce pilot pollution.

Monovalent irreversible inactivators of human GlxI are also provided. An antineoplastic composition is provided, which comprises a compound described above and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.     摘要: A computerized method of detecting regions of interest in a digital image optimizes and adapts a computer aided scheme for detecting regions of interest in images. The optimization is based on global image characteristics. For each image in a database of images having known regions of interest, global image features are measured and an image characteristic index is established based on these global image features. All the images in the database are divided into a number of image groups based on the image characteristic index of each image in the database and the CAD scheme is optimized for each image group. Once the CAD scheme is optimized, to process a digital image, an image characteristics based classification criteria is established for that image, and then global image features of the digitized image are determined. The digitized image is then assigned an image characteristics rating based on the determined global image features, and the image is assigned to an image group based on the image rating. Then regions of interest depicted in the image are determined using a detection scheme adapted for the assigned image group.

    摘要: Method and apparatus for detecting abnormal regions such as masses and microcalcifications in living tissue depicted in radiographs such as mammograms is presented by digitizing the radiograph to produce a digitized radiograph, and, by computer, identifying, according to predetermined criteria, any suspected abnormal regions; and for each identified suspected abnormal region, extracting multiple topographic layers of the region from the digitized radiograph; and evaluating the extracted multiple topographic layers' abnormal regions to determine whether the region is an abnormal region; and displaying the abnormal regions in a version of the radiograph. Layers are extracted by thresholding the digital radiograph at a particular threshold value for each topographic layer. The threshold value for each other layer is based on the threshold and contrast values in a previous layer.

The mechanical control portion includes a first main control system (21), a first host computer isolation interface (22), a first communication interface controller (24), a first optoelectronic/magnetic isolator (25), and a first isolated input/output interface (23) coupled to a mechanical transmission device. Similarly, the laser control portion includes a second main control system (31), a second host computer isolation interface (32), a second communication interface controller (34), a second optoelectronic/magnetic isolator (35), and a second isolated input/output interface (33) coupled to a laser cutting device. The first and second main control systems are connected with the host computer via the respective first and second host computer isolation interfaces. The first and second optoelectronic/magnetic isolators are connected with a slave computer. The numerical control system can be further divided into a cutting management module (4) and a stencil output module (5). A numerical control method associated with the above numerical control system for laser cutting an SMT stencil is also disclosed.
