    摘要: A device detects an overload in a serving cell of a wireless network based on information associated with the serving cell, and determines, when the overload in the serving cell is detected, user equipment in the serving cell that are candidates to move to a target cell of the wireless network based on calculated user throughputs of user equipment in the serving cell. The device also selects one or more of the candidate user equipment to move to the target cell, and moves the selected user equipment to the target cell.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a method and an arrangement for optimizing radio resource utilizations when scheduling data transmissions between a radio base station (15) and one or more user equipments (18) on a radio channel over a radio interface in a communication network comprising a plurality of said radio base stations (15) serving cells between which said user equipments (18) are moving. Firstly information on channel quality of said radio channel is obtained. Also, information on the traffic per user within the cell is obtained. Then, the information on channel quality and said traffic information are combined and the data transmission is scheduled based on the combination.

    摘要: Handover (HO) statistics and handover issue events which are due to non-mobility causes are not included in the statistics fed into mobility robustness optimization (MRO). The non-mobility causes may include, e.g., load balancing, retracting users to prepare for cell maintenance or restart/reconfiguration and cell outage including compensation means. Radio link failure (RLF), handover failure (HOF), and handover oscillations (HOosc) that are due to non-mobility cause are excluded from the statistics upon which mobility robustness optimization is based. Non-mobility causes are also differentiated from mobility causes when reporting key performance indicators to an operator.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for service aware scheduling of wireless resources in a wireless network. According to the inventive method, a service request for service delivery of a service type is received (51). A performance to value relationship for the service type is determined (52) and approximated (53) with a scheduling weight function associated with the service type. Previous performance for service delivery related to this service request is evaluated and approximated with a performance estimate (54). A scheduling weight is determined (55) by introducing the performance estimate in the scheduling weight function. Resource scheduling is performed (58) following a step of comparing (56) scheduling weights for on-going service requests. The invention also includes a network node and a system for service aware scheduling of wireless resources in a wireless network.

Also defined is at least one individual handover parameter (210, 220) for each one of the scenarios. Measured radio qualities of the first and second cells, associated with the user equipment (110) are obtained. The user equipment (110) is then classified into one of the scenarios based on the measured radio qualities, and a handover decision is established based on the individual handover parameter (210, 220) for the chosen scenario.

    摘要: A method in a first radio network node for testing a transmission parameter value in a wireless communication system is provided. The first radio network node is configured to, during operational mode thereof, perform transmissions using available resources divided in to resource blocks. The first radio network node allocates a test resource block, for test purposes, among the available resources. The first radio network node defines for the test resource block, a test value for the transmission parameter. The test value differs from the nominal value. The first radio network node performs, during operational mode, a test transmission using the resource block. During the test transmission, the transmission parameter is set to the test value. The test transmission is configured to form the basis for an evaluation of the test value.
