摘要: A scanning apparatus for cross-sectional inspection equipment comprising a rotatable disc supporting an X-ray source and a detector. The rotation of this disc is quickly braked as a coil spring provided on a speed accelerating and reducing means is compressed. The start of rotation of this disc rapidly gains the required rotation speed by the recovering force of the same compressed coil spring. A cable extending from various devices including the X-ray source and the detector provided on the rotatable disc is releasably wound around a hollow drum provided on this disc. The rotation force produced in the rotatable disc by this cable is off-set by a rotation force applied in an opposite direction to this disc.

摘要: An X-ray apparatus constituted by a roentgenographic pedestal having a patient's table on top thereof; a supporting member secured on the pedestal and extending in the direction away from the surface of the table and having an end surface arranged so that this end surface is allowed to change its position progressively as desired while being in contact with rollers provided on a base frame of the apparatus and that the direction of movement of the pedestal is restricted by the supporting member. The roentgenographic pedestal, therefore, is movable along the contour of the surface of contact of the end surface of the supporting member, and furthermore this pedestal itself is capable of assuming either a horizontal position, an inclined position or a vertical position, as desired. In the horizontal position of the pedestal, the distance between the surface of the table and the floor on which the apparatus is installed can be greatly reduced.

摘要: A tomographic apparatus in which an X-ray tube and a film travel in straight, circular, elliptical, near-hypocycloidal and spiral paths about a fixed point of an object, keeping a certain positional relationship between them. The X-ray tube and the film are supported by a link mechanism retaining the aforesaid positional relationship, and the above-mentioned movement is achieved by a control means. The control means comprises: a drive mechanism having an internal gear, and a planetary gear, in mesh with the internal gear, rotates itself and moves around the internal gear; and a control mechanism for controlling rotation of those gears.

The force of the force generating device is able to lift the head above a lower stop which is a component of the clamping device.

摘要: A ball mounting method for mounting a plurality of balls held by a head onto a workpiece. The head is clamped such that a clamping surface mounted to the head is engaged with a rigid lower positioning stop, and then moved above a ball supply section. The balls are held on the head, and the head is moved above the workpiece. The clamping force is then released so that the clamping surface does not engage the lower stop, and the head is counterbalanced between the lower positioning stop and an upper positioning stop. While the head is unclamped and counterbalanced, the balls are mounted on the workpiece. The head is then clamped and moved above the ball supply section again.

摘要: A scanning device for use in axial transverse tomographic apparatus, arranged so that a support which carries thereon an X-ray source and its associated detector is mounted on a rotary disk for reciprocating linear movements, and that this rotary disk is caused to rotate through a certain angle at a time for each change of direction of the linear movements of the support. The support is moved at a plurality of different speeds. Either a single or a plurality of damping means are arranged so as to reduce the speed of movement of the support and then to accelerate this speed in association with the movement speed thereof at any changing of direction of movement of this support.
