摘要: A tile for lining an internal surface in a heavy wear area. The tile includes at least one locating rod embedded within said tile and an internal mechanism for laterally extending said at least one locating rod out of said tile and into a gap in an adjoining structure which may be another tile. The tiles forming the lining surface are securely held in place as a result of the selective deployment of the locating rods into a gap in the adjoining structure.

摘要: The present invention provides a method of securing a pair of signs to a post. The method includes the first step of providing a first and second sign wherein each sign has a pair of holes therein. Next, a securing means is provided, then the first sign is placed flush against a first side of the post while the second sign is placed flush against a second side of the post. Finally, the first and second signs are secured against the post utilizing the securing means being wound through said each pair of holes.

摘要: A security sensor system comprises one or more laser detection and ranging (LADAR) sensors configured for accumulation of three-dimensional image data. In one embodiment, the one or more LADAR sensors each comprise a LADAR device, such as a MEMS device, configured to transmit a plurality of laser pulses, and a microprocessor operatively coupled to the LADAR device. One or more data storage devices is operatively coupled to the microprocessor and configured to store the three-dimensional image data, as well as predetermined protected area boundary and fixed object definitions. A GPS receiver can be operatively coupled to the microprocessor and a GPS antenna. The microprocessor is configured to perform a LADAR image analysis that compares the three-dimensional image data with the protected area boundary and fixed object definitions to identify one or more potential intruders.

摘要: A horizontal flat-fold, filtering face-piece respirator 10 that includes a harness 14 and a mask body 12 that has a front surface, a first perimeter 24a, and a longitudinal axis 34. A nose clip 30 is secured to the mask body 12 centrally and adjacent to the first perimeter 24a of the mask body 12. An indicia 32 that is visible on the front surface of the mask body 12 in a vicinity of the nose clip 30 is provided to highlight a longitudinal axis of symmetry of the nose clip. The use of such an indicia, visible from the mask body front surface, enables a user to readily identify where the nose clip may be bent to prepare it for donning by the wearer.

摘要: In general, the invention relates to a method. The method includes receiving notification, which includes context information, of a trap. The method further includes accessing, based at least partially upon the context information, a particular instruction that caused the trap, determining, based at least partially upon the context information, a particular address that is to be accessed by the particular instruction, updating a set of log information to indicate accessing of the particular address, causing subsequent accesses of the particular address to not give rise to a trap, after causing subsequent accesses of the particular address to not give rise to a trap, accessing the particular address, after accessing the particular address, causing subsequent accesses of the particular address to give rise to a trap, and causing the particular instruction to not be executed.

摘要: One embodiment of the present invention provides a system that uses observed thread activity to dynamically tune a virtual machine for responsiveness and/or throughput. During operation, the system observes the activity of a thread to determine whether the thread needs responsiveness and/or throughput. Next, the system gathers statistics for the thread based on these observations of thread activity, and then uses these statistics to dynamically tune a virtual machine upon which the thread will execute.
