摘要： The present invention relates to a novel exercise device. The device is a set of lower body exercise equipment that makes use of resistance/tension bands. The device comprises a back support brace component for providing form and bracing for the various resistances. The device also comprises a waist band component that secures around a user's waist and attaches the plurality of tension bands to each leg. Further, the device comprises ankle braces secured to a user's ankles to provide support and tension to the ankles during use. Finally, additional tension bands can be utilized as needed, as well as a cross-ankle resistance band secured between a user's ankles to provide additional resistance and tension to the lower legs.

The barrel section may include a transverse aperture adjacent one of the rear/butt stock end. The firearm training device may include a stretchable loop exercise band disposed through the transverse aperture and connected to the body member. The body member may be in a variety of shapes, such as a hand gun or a rifle. The stretchable loop exercise band is adapted for being wrapped around a person's torso so it can be used to perform exercises to strengthen the person's ability to grip a firearm.

摘要： A system for assisting a user in strength training with a strength training device comprises a torque source. One or more magnetorheological (MR) fluid clutch apparatuses has an input coupled to torque source to receive torque from the torque source, the MR fluid clutch apparatus controllable to transmit a variable amount of torque via an output thereof. A modulation inter face couples the output of the at least one MR fluid clutch apparatus to a force transmission of the training device. One or more sensors provide information indicative of a training action by the user. A training processor comprises a training effort calculator module for receiving the information indicative of the training action and for characterizing the training action, a training assistance controller module for determining a level of force assistance from the characterizing of the training action, and an assistance generator module for controlling the at least one MR fluid clutch apparatus in exerting the force assistance at said level on the force transmission of the training device to assist the user in the training action. A method for assisting a user in strength training with a MR fluid clutch apparatus is also provided.

摘要： An elastic resistance harness applies progressively stronger resistance bands onto the shoulders of a user to correct spinal alignment and improve posture. The elastic resistance harness includes an anchor plate, a support cushion, a left shoulder pad, a right shoulder pad, an elastic cord, and a plurality of eyelets. The elastic cord traverses through the anchor plate and braces the shoulders of the user. The elastic cord leverages the anchor plate to pull the users shoulders outward, thereby helping correct the user's posture. Accordingly, the anchor plate presses against the user's back. The support plate cushions the user's back against the anchor plate. Further, a left shoulder pad and a right shoulder pad cushions the shoulders against the elastic cord. The plurality of eyelets allows the elastic cord to weave through the anchor plate, thereby fastening the anchor plate to the elastic cord.

The device enables simulated weight-bearing action for the upper limb while maintaining good postural form. The device can also be used to provide feedback on good postural form. The exercise device comprises a spine contact member (26) to be positioned at the thoracic curve of a person (10), and two rigid planar members (28) which extend laterally from the spine contact member (26). The rigid planar members (28) are positioned over the scapulae of the person (10). The spine contact member (26) and associated rigid planar members (28) are held in position by straps (30) which pass over and under the shoulders of the person (10).
