    摘要: To share program data between a plurality of information providers, between which providers there exists a predetermined association, whereby a program schedule for each of the information providers can be acquired.The program-schedule-generating device stores program data provided by a plurality of information providers. The program-schedule-generating device specifies a subject user, who is an information provider to which program schedule data is to be transmitted, and specifies another information provider having a predetermined association with the user. The predetermined association referred to here is, for example, a condition in which users are members of an identical service (such as an SNS). The program-schedule-generating device extracts the program data provided by the information providers, generates program schedule data based on the program data, and transmits the program schedule data.

    摘要: An image processing apparatus and method for generating a wide angle image from received images. Using an image signal of a received image, a scene change detection unit detects scene change of the received images. A movement detection unit detects a movement in each of the received images. A display position determination unit determines a display position of each of the received images based on the movement in each of the received images detected in a period of continuous scene. A wide field angle image generation unit superimposes the received images in said period of said continuous scene, a display position of which has been determined, to generate an image signal of the wide field angle image. A received image slide unit generates image signal wherein the received images are slid to the display positions. An image superimposition unit superimposes the received images whose display positions have been slid on the wide field angle image, to generate an image signal of a wide field angle display image in which the display position of each of the received images is slid in response to the movement in each of the received images.

    摘要: A pattern matching section compares reference taps supplied by one area extracting section with a reference tap component of a training pair pre-stored in a training-pair storing section, selects a training pair including a reference tap component having highest similarity to the reference taps, and supplies the selected training pair to a normal-equation generating section. Training pairs stored in the training-pair storing section include a SD signal and HD signal. A prediction-coefficient determining section obtains prediction coefficients by solving normal equations generated by the normal-equation generating section. A prediction calculating section produces a HD signal by applying the prediction coefficients to prediction taps extracted by another area extracting section.
