摘要： A mounting bracket connects a water pipe fastened to an eared fitting to a support bar in a building. The bracket has an isolator made of a material selected to substantially reduce the transmission of noise and wrapped around the support bar. The bracket has a stiff shell wrapped around a periphery of the support bar and has two opposing ends. The shell is sized to clamp the isolator against the support bar during use as the ends are moved toward each other with sufficient force that there is a tight clamp resulting in little relative movement between the shell and the support during use. The shell has a mounting portion for the eared fitting. The bracket also has a fastening mechanism to hold the ends together and to fasten the eared fitting to the mounting portion during use of the bracket. The fastening mechanism clamps the ends together to restrain relative movement of the shell and support bar. For telescoping support bars an adaptor is interposed between the isolator and the smaller, inner telescoping member of the support bar to make the support bar a uniform size at the location of the bracket.

摘要： A system and method for imputing data into a database includes an imputing system operable to impute data based on outside plant construction principles. The imputing system includes an inventory database, a data engine, a search engine, and a loop engine. The inventory database includes a plurality of distribution records each associated with one or more cable pairs. The data engine determines if a desired distribution record corresponding to a desired cable pair includes missing data. The search engine searches a known class of serving terminals for complete distribution records and iteratively searches a sized binder group within the inventory database for one or more complete distribution records where the size of the binder group searched increases with each iterative search. The loop engine determines an imputed value for the desired distribution record based on the searching and imputes the value into the desired distribution record.

摘要： A plumbing strap is fastened to a building. A tubular insert is placed through a hole in a strap with posts on the tubular insert aligning with cut-outs in the strap to restrict rotation of the tubular insert relative to the strap. A flange on one end of the tubular insert abuts the strap to restrict longitudinal motion of the tubular insert. Latches on the tubular insert extend through the hole in the strap to engage the side of the strap opposite the flange and further restrict longitudinal movement of the tubular insert. A collar is placed over the tubular insert and a pipe extends through the tubular insert and collar. The tubular insert has a base adjacent the flange and a skirt distal from the flange. Longitudinal slits in the base and skirt define resilient members in the base and in the skirt that extend in opposing directions, but that can move inward. The collar screws onto the tubular insert causing abutting surfaces on the collar and on the resilient members to force the resilient members inward to grip the pipe and restrain longitudinal and rotational movement of the pipe relative to the tubular insert and strap.

摘要： A dual-mode broadband modem operative to operate in a service mode and a surveillance mode is disclosed. Generally, the dual-mode broadband modem comprises a primary communication device; a secondary communication device; a central processing unit in communication with the primary and secondary communication devices; and a memory unit in communication with the central processing unit. In the service mode, the primary communication device communicates with a broadband service provider and the central processing unit stores historical information regarding performance of the primary communication device in the memory unit. If an interruption in broadband service is detected, or the performance of the primary communication device falls below a predetermined threshold, the dual-mode broadband modem switches to surveillance mode and the secondary communication device is activated. The secondary communication device communicates with the broadband service provider to send at least a portion of the historical information regarding performance of the primary communication device to the broadband service provider for processing to determine a source of the interruption in broadband service or a source of the decreased performance of the primary communication device.

The support has a base with one surface adapted to fasten to the conduit. The second surface has a twist-lock fastener that includes a first and second plate, each having a width sized to fit through the space between the lips and having a length about the same as the distance between the sides of the channel. Two V-shaped deformable members join these plates adjacent the ends on the longest side of the plates. Each V-shaped member is joined to a different plate and the bends at the juncture of the two legs of the V-shaped member abut the side walls of the channel. The bends are adjacent the ends and extend beyond the plates to wedge against the channel sides as a screw draws the plates together and moves the legs of the V shaped member toward each other.

The gown has regions in the chest and sleeve areas imprinted with a liquid repellent coating to protect the wearer from fluids. The drape preferably has an absorbent or super absorbent coating surrounding a fenestration through which an operation may occur. The drape may also have regions coated with water repellent or friction enhancing materials. The gown further has adhesive closures rather than ties.

摘要： A dive mask of the purge valve-type that comprises a deflector affixed to the lower front surface thereof for channeling air bubbles expelled during purging to the sides of the mask to avoid interference with the diver's vision. A plurality of vertical and horizontal spacers are also provided to assure the availability of a free flow air channel between the deflector and the remaining structure of the mask. In the preferred embodiment disclosed herein, the deflector is ornamentally shaped to enhance the styling and physical appearance of the overall mask structure.
