    摘要: A thermoforming device heats a plastic film to a substantially uniform temperature, in order to impart a curved shape to said film. The device includes a chamber, the internal pressure of which is variable and which is closed by the film, a system for measuring a sag in the film arranged outside the chamber and opposite said film, and a system for heating the film. The heating system includes a hot air blowing unit which is suitable for producing a hot airflow flowing parallel to the film between two opposite edges of said film.

A planar seal and at least one O-ring seal are positioned in the groove, with the O-ring seal under the planar seal. An active surface of the planar seal, which projects above the groove, is compressed against a planar bearing surface of the other rigid part. The chamber can be used in a device for applying a plastic film onto a spectacle lens, in order to move the lens inside a variable-pressure space.

    摘要: The invention relates to a method for adjusting the position of a transparent element (1), consisting in forming an image of a peripheral edge (B1) of the transparent element, using the light diffused by said peripheral edge. In this way, movements by the transparent element relative to reference marks can be followed on a screen or carried out automatically based on an analysis of the image. The method can be used to apply a piece of film (2) to a spectacle lens, adjusting the distance between the respective peripheral edges (B1, B2) of the spectacle lens and the piece of film.

    摘要: A method and apparatus for post mixing an additive with a hot melt adhesives. The method includes the steps of providing a source of molten hot melt adhesive, feeding the hot melt adhesive to an inlet of a mixer, simultaneously feeding an additive for the hot melt adhesive to the inlet of the mixer, mixing the additive and molten hot melt adhesive in the mixer to form a homogeneous mixture, and recovering the homogenous mixture. The additive is preferably selected from wetness indicators, antimicrobial agents, pigments, dyes, ultraviolet light absorbers, antioxidants, fluorescent agents, pH indicators and fragrances. The method may be practiced either on a batch basis, or on a continuous basis. The apparatus includes a vessel containing molten hot melt adhesive, a mixer located downstream from the vessel, the mixer having an inlet and an outlet, a first pump located between the vessel and the mixer for pumping molten hot melt adhesive from the vessel to the inlet of the mixer, a source of an additive for the hot melt adhesive, and a second pump located between the source of the additive and the mixer for pumping the additive to the inlet of the mixer. The mixer may comprise either a static mixer or a dynamic mixer.
