    摘要: A portable lancing aid for providing liquid samples comprises a lancet system having at least one lancet, a tensioning device, and an electromechanical actuator. The tensioning device can be tensioned by the electromechanical actuator. The portable lancing aid may further include an energy source for storing electrical energy that is connected to the electromechanical actuator. Additionally, the portable lancing aid may include an interface for charging the energy source where the interface is externally accessible from the lancet system. The invention is ergonomical and easy to handle for children and patients with physical limitations. Furthermore, a lancing system for collecting liquid samples is provided with a portable lancing aid that is detachably mountable to a charging station for charging the portable lancing aid.

    摘要: The present invention provides a hand-held analysis instrument for analyzing a body fluid. The instrument comprises a housing with a housing opening to which a body part, in particular, a finger, can be applied to generate a puncture wound, an analysis unit for analyzing a sample of a body fluid obtained at the puncture wound, and a piercing unit including a lancet and lancet drive for generating a puncture movement of the lancet. The piercing unit, including the lancet drive, is movable between an operating position and a rest position, the piercing unit being located at the housing opening in the operating position in such a manner that by means of the lancet a puncture wound can be generated in a body part pressed against the housing opening, and the piercing unit being remote from the housing opening in the rest position in such a manner that the space in front of the housing opening is free for the analysis unit, so that it can be moved into a position for receiving blood. An operating device is used for actuating a functional mechanism of the piercing unit. The piercing unit is decoupled from the operating device in one of its two positions and is coupled to the operating device in the other position.

The puncturing device is adapted for disposable use in that the housing parts were are irreversibly connected upon enclosing the band-shaped lancet carrier, thereby sealing the band-shaped lancet carrier irremovably in the housing. A reusable handling device can also be used with the puncturing device.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a lancet device, by which a lancet can be displaced along a piercing path for generating a piercing wound in a skin surface, in particular to obtain bodily fluid for diagnostic purposes, comprising a lancet drive having drive means to generate a drive force for a piercing movement of the lancet along the piercing path in the direction toward the skin surface. According to the present invention, the lancet drive comprises a magnet, by which a magnetic retention force oriented opposite to the drive force may be generated, and the lancet drive also comprises triggering means, by which the retention force may be reduced enough that the lancet is accelerated in the direction toward the skin surface under the effect of the drive force generated by the drive means. The present invention also relates to a method for generating a piercing wound, in which the drive spring is held in a tensioned state using a magnetic retention force oriented opposite to the drive force before the triggering of a piercing wound.
