A passible environmental control incudes a multiple of containers located around the perimeter of each accessible product space. Further, each of the containers incorporates a phase change material (PCM) that is used to temperature condition each accessible product space.

    Abstract: A partition assembly configured to be mounted in a tire cavity defined between a wheel and a tire to divide the tire cavity into a plurality of segments, the partition assembly including at least one air line and a plurality of baffles. Each one of the plurality of baffles including: a base configured to be mounted to the wheel, the base defining an air passageway in fluid communication with the at least one air line; and an expandable body connected to the base and in fluid communication with the air passageway of the base, the expandable body configured to be filled with air from the at least one air line. Each one of the plurality of baffles is configured to receive air from the at least one air line to expand the plurality of baffles from a deflated configuration to an inflated configuration in which the plurality of baffles are configured to contact an inner wall of the tire coupled to the wheel to divide the tire cavity into the plurality of segments.

    Abstract: A branding and configuring system for devices of a vehicle to be branded includes: an Ethernet switch including ports; a branding module connected to the Ethernet switch and generating new identification information for each of the devices and send the new identification information via a respective one of the ports to that device; and the devices connected respectively to the ports and including a RAM and a NVM. Each of the devices is configured to: store the corresponding new identification information received from the branding module for that device in the RAM or replace identification information stored in the RAM of that device with the corresponding new identification information in the RAM; and based on the new identification information, receive programming from a testing device external from the vehicle to reprogram that device for a dedicated functional role within the vehicle.

    Abstract: A system for securing a wire harness with a tie strap. The system includes: a body defining a channel configured to receive the wire harness; and a cradle adjacent to the channel, the cradle configured to hold a head of the tie strap, the cradle defining an opening for the tie strap to pass through. The wire harness is secured within the channel by the tie strap extending out of the cradle through the opening, under the body, across the channel, and into cooperation with the head seated in the cradle.

    Abstract: A method of forming a lithium ion battery, a lithium ion battery anode, and a lithium ion battery for a vehicle. The method includes exposing a first surface of a lithium layer to carbon dioxide gas and forming a lithium carbonate layer on the first surface of the lithium layer. The method further includes depositing a fluoropolymer layer on a second surface of the lithium carbonate layer to provide a lithium anode. The battery includes one or more battery cells including the anode for the lithium ion battery. The anode includes a lithium layer including a first surface, and a hybrid coating layer disposed on the first surface, wherein the hybrid coating layer includes a plurality of lithium fluoride domains and a plurality of lithium carbonate domains within a carbonaceous matrix.

    Abstract: A method includes generating a data structure including states and actions to be executed at those states as determined by an AI policy of behavior, determining, with a first computing system that is offline, state factors associated with the states and responsibility scores for the state factors, each responsibility score indicating a causal impact for each of the actions associated with one of the states, generating, with the first computing system, a causal ML model based on the state factors and the responsibility scores, determining, with a second computing system that is online based on the causal ML model, state factors associated with a current state, and identifying one or more of the state factors as a causal reason for an action resulting from the current state. Other example methods and systems for providing explanation of an AI policy of behavior with causal reasoning are also disclosed.
