    摘要： The present invention discloses attenuated Clostridium perfringens organisms that express a substantially nontoxic alpha-toxin. The expressed alpha-toxin is a deletion mutein that relative to the alpha-toxin of the mature alpha-toxin of Clostridium perfringens strain 13, is missing at least nine consecutive amino acid residues including His68. The present invention also discloses attenuated organisms that encode the muteins, as well as the use of such attenuated organisms as vaccines.

    摘要： A squirrel skinning device and method that makes skinning and cleaning a squirrel easy and safe. The squirrel skinning device consists of two handle sections that pivot like scissors to force jaws together to hold a squirrel by the tail bone to allow easy removal of the skin and to prepare the meat for use. A user stands on a base portion with one foot and another smaller base section that is positioned above the lower base with the other foot. The user's weight provides the torque that securely holds the squirrel in the jaws while pulling upward to skin the squirrel.

    摘要： An improved all-way offset snips with full width wire cutter has bosses through which first and second blade members are pivotably connected for rotation about an axis perpendicular to the pivot bosses. The blade members have extended offset cutting surfaces with respect to the pivot bosses to permit the cutting of irregular shapes, particularly sharp curves and especially small circles, including opposing circles of about 2.0" to 2.5" diameters. The cutting surfaces are rotatable between an open position and a closed position for cutting the sheet material therebetween. The pivot bosses and the cutting surfaces are adapted for removal of material therefrom to permit resharpening of the offset snips while maintaining the offset of the cutting surfaces. The shanks of the blade members are also provided with wire cutting means, preferably a pinch cutter capable of being a limit stop for limiting rotation of the first and second blade members. Also, an improved handle configuration with improved toggle means provides greater power.
