    摘要: A method, apparatus and computer program product for distribution of routing information used in a transport network is presented. In a transport network having a plurality of edge devices and core devices, a main instance of a protocol is used for shortest path and tree computation. A multicast tree is defined per Virtual Services Network (VSN) to distribute Link State Data Base (LSDB) updates that only apply to members of said VSN. Multicast trees are built using a secondary instance of the control protocol LSDB and wherein each VSN multicast tree represents a separate instance of the secondary instance of the control protocol LSD. LSDB updates are distributed that only apply to members of the VSN using the multicast tree for the VSN.

    摘要: Techniques disclosed herein include systems and methods for providing a scalable solution to transmit edge IP Multicast sender information in a Shortest Path Bridging (SPB) network. Control information is exchanged between Ingress Backbone Edge Bridges and Egress Backbone Edge Bridges using Multicast Flow Specific and type-length-value (TLV) structures, or other control messages, to announce available multicast streams at ingress nodes within the SPB network. Such exchanges of control messages trigger sending SPB specific Intermediate System To Intermediate System (IS-IS) TLV control message with path computation information via IS-IS control messages. This second set of control messages is exchanged within the SPB network and includes source-specific multicast stream information that is used by Backbone Core Bridges to establish a multicast forward state and compute multicast forwarding paths. Multicast data traffic can then be transmitted through the SPB network using a one-to-many distribution model.

A nonmagnetic isolation layer is located between the second pole piece and the write shield layer and at least one ferromagnetic stud is magnetically connected between the first pole piece layer and the write shield layer and is located between the head surface and the insulation stack.

    摘要: A system, device, and method for supporting cut-through pats in an optical communication system involves obtaining hop count and quality of service information by an initiating device and using the hop count and quality of service information by the initiating device to make decisions relating to a cut-through path. The hop count and quality of service information is provided in a reply message that is sent by a terminating device and modified by intermediate devices between the initiating device and the terminating device. The terminating device sends the reply with a hop count equal to one and quality of service information for a first link (hop) toward the initiating device. Each intermediate device increments the hop count in the reply and adds quality of service information for a next link (hop) into the reply.

    摘要: A scalable network architecture adapted to interface with various sensor types and sensor access mechanisms while providing real-time access to sensor data for distributed applications and organizations is described. A centralized sensor network service manages the registration, capabilities, near real-time status of the sensors and their current network connections. New sensors are discovered automatically through messaging between network access nodes and the sensor registry. The registry service can be made available to distributed sensor applications and sensor middleware, and facilitates the sharing of sensors across organizations. The sensor registry is automatically updated by network software and does not require manual configuration or reconfiguration each time a sensor is added to or relocated within the network. Authentication and authorization policies can be implemented to ensure that only authorized applications can query and view the registry. The registry can be implemented for multi-vendor sensor networks and can accommodate multiple addressing schemes.
