摘要： A new and improved remote trigger actuating mechanism for a power tool comprises an elongated handle or pole which is provided with a handgrip upon a rear end portion, while a mounting bracket, into which a forward end portion of the elongated handle or pole is fixedly engaged, is fixedly mounted upon a rear end portion of the power tool as a result of being bolted directly thereto by suitable bolt fasteners. A spring-biased sleeve member is concentrically disposed about the elongated handle or pole, and a trigger actuator linkage member has a rear end portion thereof fixedly mounted upon the spring-biased sleeve member while a forward end portion of the trigger actuator linkage member is provided with a hooked portion which is adapted to engage the trigger mechanism of the power tool. The spring-biased sleeve member is normally biased to a forward extended position by a coil spring such that the trigger actuator linkage member does not normally engage the trigger mechanism of the power tool, however, when the spring-biased sleeve member is manually moved in the rearward direction against the spring-biasing force of the coil spring, the trigger actuator or linkage member will engage and actuate the trigger mechanism of the power tool whereby the power tool will be energized.

摘要： The present invention is a system and method for providing access to electronic works over a network. In a preferred embodiment, the present invention offers a user access to electronic copies of works, such as songs, albums, movies, or music videos, over a network. The user responds to the offer by requesting to access to a particular work. Before such a request is granted, the present invention may verify that the user is authorized to access to the work. In one embodiment, the user verifies that they are authorized to access an electronic copy of the work by demonstrating that they possess a physical copy of the work. In another embodiment, the user verifies that they are authorized to access an electronic copy of the work by demonstrating that they ordered or purchased a copy of the work. If a user's authorization is verified, the user may then be provided with access to an electronic copy of the work by such techniques as downloading or streaming.

摘要： A cryogenic fluid jet is used in an apparatus and a method for remote cooling of a cutting tool engaged in machining a workpiece under high-energy conditions, such as high-speed machining, hard-turning, cutting of difficult to machine materials, and combinations thereof. The apparatus and method use a stabilized, free-expanding cryogenic fluid jet having a pulse cycle time less than or equal to about 10 seconds. The apparatus and method increase the cleanliness of machined parts and chips and machining productivity of hard but brittle tools, including but not limited to tools which should not be cooled with conventional cooling fluids.
