摘要:
An effervescent analgesic antacid composition having reduced sodium content is produced from a mixture of an analgesic, such as acetylsalicylic acid, acetaminophen, ketoprofen or a mixture thereof, citric acid, sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate, potassium bicarbonate, and minor amounts of flavors and sweeteners.
摘要:
A stable composition containing acetylsalicylic acid and a nasal decongestant is disclosed wherein the decongestant is the bitartrate or tartrate salt of phenylpropanolamine or mixture of such salts.

Hydrolyzed gelatin has been found to provide an improvement in taste and mouthfeel when incorporated in small amounts into chewable tablets containing ingredients requiring taste masking. Medicinals and nutritional supplements may now be prepared as chewables for those who find tablets difficult to swallow, for example children and older adults, or for those who prefer the convenience. There is a particularly large improvement in the taste and mouthfeel of chewables incorporating magaldrate and/or calcium carbonate.

Methods have been developed to produce novel compounds by covalently coupling thiazolidinedione insulin sensitivity enhancers (ISEs) to proteins. These novel compounds are well suited for producing antibodies, which are specific for thiazolidinedione ISEs and which are well suited for fluorescent immunoassays of thiazolidinedione and non-thiazolidinedione ISEs in buffers and biological tissues. Antibodies also are well suited for high-volume screening for immunologically related novel, non-thiazolidinedione and thiazolidinedione ISEs.
