摘要: A system for the ergonomic communication of a map portion is presented. The map portion may include map information, map background, and additional information. The system includes an interface control unit that may include a graphics control unit, a processor and a memory. The system may include one or more modules for creating an ergonomic presentation including: a border module that may add the additional information to the representation; an adaptation module for adapting the map information and map background and/or additional information with one another, such as within a maximum color contrast; a scale-dependent module that may adapt the color intensity and width of map information as a function of scale and type; and a smoothing module to increase the quality of the map portion representation. The system may include a method for controlling the representation of a map portion.

摘要: A solid polycrystalline potassium ion conductor having a β″-Al2O3 structure is obtainable by means of ion exchange of the alkali metal ions of a polycrystalline alkali metal β″-Al2O3 moulding, in which the alkali metal ions are sodium ions or a mixture of sodium and potassium ions and the molar ratio M2O (M=alkali metal) to Al2O3 is 1: x, x being an integer or non-integer number within the range 5 to 11, for potassium ions, the ion exchange being effected by a method wherein neither chloride-containing nor liquid potassium ion sources are used, the method comprising the steps of: embedding the polycrystalline alkali metal β″-Al2O3 moulding in an oxidic powder containing potassium and aluminium of a molar K2O: Al2O3 ratio within the range of 1: (x−1) to 1: (x+1), the weight of oxidic powder amounting to at least two times the weight of the moulding; heating the embedded moulding at a rate of at least 100° C. per hour to at least 1100° C.; and further heating to at least 1300° C., this temperature being maintained for at least one hour prior to cooling. Potassium metal is obtained, starting from potassium amalgam, by electrolysis using an anode containing potassium amalgam, liquid potassium metal as a cathode and this solid potassium ion conductor as a membrane separating cathode and anode spaces.

摘要: An image processor includes a memory that stores image layers, α-layers associated with the image layers, and pointers linking image areas of the image layers with the α-layer. A method for blending multiple image layers includes obtaining a transparency value for an image area by reading a pointer associated with the image area and blending the image layers using the obtained transparency value.

摘要: An electrolysis device producing alkali metals from a liquid alkali metal heavy metal alloy, including at least two connected tubes forming an electrolysis unit. Two solid electrolyte tubes are arranged concentrically in each tube and oriented with openings towards one end of each tube such that a first annular gap for guiding a liquid alkali metal forming an anode is located between the inside of the tube and the outside of the solid electrolyte tubes. An alloy inlet and outlet for the liquid alkali metal in each of the tubes leads into the first annular gap of a tube. An inner chamber sealed off from the alloy inlet, first annular gap, and alloy outlet in each solid electrolyte tube receives liquid alkali metal that can be used as a cathode connected to the alkali metal outlet. Two respective closure devices are arranged at the two ends of each tube.
