摘要: Disclosed herein are embodiments of low temperature co-fireable dielectric materials which can be used in conjunction with high dielectric materials to form composite structures, in particular for isolators and circulators for radiofrequency components. Embodiments of the low temperature co-fireable dielectric materials can be scheelite or garnet structures, for example barium tungstate. Adhesives and/or glue is not necessary for the formation of the isolators and circulators.

[Solving Means] The above problem is solved by providing a plate-like alumina particle including a step of firing an aluminum compound in the presence of a shape-controlling agent and a molybdenum compound serving as a fluxing agent. The above problem is solved also by providing a method for producing a plate-like alumina particle, the method including a step in which the aluminum compound and the molybdenum compound react with each other to form aluminum molybdate and a step in which the aluminum molybdate is decomposed to obtain the plate-like alumina particle.-

摘要: The present invention provides a high alumina fused cast refractory that is easily produced and has low porosity and high corrosion resistance, and a method of producing the same. The high alumina fused cast refractory of the present invention has the following chemical composition: 95.0 mass % to 99.5 mass % Al2O3, 0.20 mass % to 1.50 mass % SiO2, 0.05 mass % to 1.50 mass % B2O3, 0.05 mass % to 1.20 mass % MgO and balance. The method of producing the high alumina fused cast refractory of the present invention includes obtaining a mixture by mixing an Al2O3 source material, a SiO2 source material, a B2O3 source material and an MgO source material, and fusing the mixture.

摘要: The invention relates to a process for making a ceramic body that comprises providing particles of a metal salt precursor material wetted by a liquid medium. The particles are characterized by a grain size of below 600 nm, and the precursor material has a solubility in the liquid medium of at least 10−5 mol/L. A pressure of ≥100 MPa is applied at a temperature of below 100° C., rendering a material of high theoretical density values previously unattainable at low temperatures. The invention further relates to a calcium carbonate ceramic material of the vaterite isomorph having a density of the material ≥1.76 g/cm3 and a Modulus of rupture ≥30 MPa, and to a calcium phosphate ceramic material consisting of the monetite isomorph with ≥2.5 g/cm3 density and a Modulus of rupture ≥18 MPa.

摘要: A high strength ceramic body for use in a regenerative burner media bed, comprising a generally spherical refractory portion and a plurality of irregular aggregate portions distributed randomly throughout the generally spherical portion. The aggregate portions are selected from the group comprising tabular alumina, white fused alumina, mullite, chamotte, and combinations thereof. The generally spherical portion has a porosity of less than 1 percent and is more than 99.5 weight percent alumina.
