In one embodiment, an integrated, closed-loop rigsite analysis system is provided for acquiring and analyzing real-time mud logging and downhole data, and displaying in real-time values of one or more operator-controllable parameters, along with dynamic critical values of at least one controllable operating parameter, thereby enabling an operator to modulate such parameter on a real-time basis to optimize operation. The integrated information is derived by intelligent combination of data into meaningful and useable information that can be displayed in an informative manner.

    摘要: A body of a shear pin can be positioned in a pad stopper of a steering pad of a rotary steerable system. The rotary steerable system can be used to steer a drill in a wellbore. The steering pad can be positioned on the rotary steerable system such that a head of the shear pin is coupled with a lateral pad of the rotary steerable system. The head of the shear pin can deactivate the steering pad by preventing the steering pad from actuating. A fluid pulse can be output in the wellbore to break the shear pin for enabling the steering pad to actuate to cause the rotary steerable system to steer the drill in the wellbore.

    摘要: The present disclosure is directed to an aqueous gellable composition that includes water; 10 to 45 composition wt. % of a crosslinkable water-soluble polymer including at least one functional group selected from the group of carboxylic acid and carboxylic acid derivative; 1 to 10 composition wt. % of an organic or inorganic crosslinking agent for the crosslinkable water-soluble polymer; 10 to 40 composition wt. % of a polyurethane polymer; and 0.1 to 5 composition wt. % of a natural polymer. The organic crosslinking agent includes at least one compound from the group of: polyalkyleneimines, polyalkylene polyamines, phenolic compounds combined with formaldehyde, and hydroquinone combined with hexamethylenetetramine. Also, the inorganic crosslinking agent includes at least one metal compound M, wherein M is from the group of: aluminum(III), chromium(III), iron(III), zirconium(III), and any mixture thereof.
