摘要： An image forming apparatus capable of flexibly setting a security policy for a modified file. A client terminal generates a print job added with a new security policy for a second file generated from a first file, and delivers the print job added with the new security policy to the image forming apparatus. The image forming apparatus generates intermediate data based on the print job delivered from the client terminal, and causes a second policy server to register the security policy. The second policy server registers the security policy, while items of the security policy being appropriately assigned to the first and second policy servers. The second policy server generates an encryption key. The image forming apparatus encrypts the intermediate data using the encryption key, and stores the encrypted intermediate data.

摘要： A roll paper comprises a continuous thermal recording paper and a cylindrical core. Line-shaped rear edge marks are formed at intervals of a peripheral length of the core on the thermal recording paper wound close to the core, by a step of the rear edge. An end hole, indicating the thermal recording paper is running out, is formed on the second rear edge mark from the rear edge of the thermal recording paper. End hole marks by the end hole are formed at intervals of the peripheral length of the core. Then end hole marks overlap the rear edge marks. By detecting the end hole, positions of the rear edge marks and the end hole marks are identified based on the peripheral length of the core, and printing of image frames are performed avoiding disposal areas including the rear edge marks and the end hole marks.

摘要： A color thermal printer a conveyor for conveying a color thermosensitive recording sheet along a conveying path. A thermal head thermally records a full-color image to the recording sheet being conveyed. A fixer lamp applies ultraviolet rays of a predetermined range of wavelength to the recording sheet being conveyed, for optically fixing the recording sheet. In the thermal printer, a printer casing has a small height, and includes a front panel oriented vertically. An insertion opening in the front panel is adapted to insertion of the recording sheet before the recording, and ejection of the recording sheet after the recording. An air inlet and an air outlet are formed in the front panel. The insertion opening is disposed between the air inlet and the air outlet. An air passageway is disposed in the printer casing, and communicates from the air inlet to the air outlet via at least a portion of the conveying path. A fan unit is disposed in the air passageway, and causes air from the air inlet to flow along the air passageway, to cause heat generated in the printer casing to exit from the air outlet.

The sheet remainder counter is allowed to push the recording sheets in a thickness direction thereof. The sheet remainder counter is adapted to detect a number of remaining ones of the recording sheets in the packaging body.

摘要： The printer built-in electric still camera has a pack chamber for loading a film pack, and a pack chamber door for opening and closing the pack chamber. On an inner face of the pack chamber door, plural film pressing devices are attached. When the pack chamber door is closed, the film pressing devices enter in a pack case from access openings formed on the pack case. The film pressing device has a frame and two pressure levers. The frame has a channel-shaped form and its bottom face is fixed on the pack chamber door. First and second shafts are attached to side plates of the frame, and ends of first and second pressure levers are rotatably fitted on the shafts. The first and second pressure levers are rotated by the bias of a strong spring and a weak spring. Other ends of the levers press the film unit.

There is a loading opening through which the thermal printer component is supplied with the recording sheet. Plural guiding projections position the recording sheet in the loading opening. A recording sheet package includes a packaging case for containing a stack of plural recording sheets with looseness. The loading opening is loadable with the packaging case. A package outlet is formed in the packaging case for passage of each recording sheet, and set directed toward the thermal printer component. Plural cutouts are formed in a periphery of the packaging case, and receive the guiding projections. Blocking portions of a blocking frame are disposed inside the packaging case, and close the cutouts. The blocking portions are shiftable inwards from the cutouts by the guiding projections.

A loading engaging cutout is formed in the packaging body, and when the packaging body is set in an acceptable orientation relative to the printer, is engaged with a loading guiding projection of the printer, and allows mounting the packaging body on the printer. When the packaging body is set in an orientation different from the acceptable orientation, the loading guiding projection inhibits the packaging body by interference from being mounted on the printer.

摘要： A thermal printer is used with thermosensitive recording sheet. The recording sheet includes a support, and at least one thermosensitive coloring layer, formed on the support, colorable with heat, and fixable with violet or ultraviolet rays. The recording sheet has a recording region, and first and second lateral sides between which the recording region is disposed. The thermal printer includes a feeder roller set for conveying the recording sheet along a conveying path. The first and second lateral sides are set to extend in a direction of the conveying path. A thermal head applies the heat to the coloring layer during conveyance of the recording sheet along the conveying path, to record an image. A fixer applies the violet or ultraviolet rays to the recording sheet being colored during conveyance of the recording sheet along the conveying path, to fix the coloring layer. At least two guide tooth portions, being first and second, are disposed between the fixer and the recording sheet, and guide respectively the first and second lateral sides along the conveying path. There are first and second gaps respectively defined adjacent to the first and second guide tooth portions. The first and second gaps allow the violet or ultraviolet rays to pass between the fixer and the recording sheet, to fix the first and second lateral sides.
