    摘要: A recording material is provided with, on a support, at least a coloring layer containing a first coloring component which is substantially colorless and a second coloring component which is substantially colorless and is colored by reacting with the first coloring component, wherein the coloring layer contains a polyvinyl alcohol resin having syndiotacticity of greater than or equal to 55 molar % as diad indication and a saponification degree of greater than or equal to 85 molar %. There is also disclosed a recording material having a protective layer provided on the coloring layer of the aforementioned recording material, wherein the polyvinyl alcohol resin having syndiotacticity of greater than or equal to 55 molar % as diad indication and a saponification degree of greater than or equal to 85 molar % is contained in at least one of the coloring layer and the protective layer. In particular, a modified polyvinyl alcohol having an ethylene-modified rate of 20 molar % to 1 molar % and a saponification rate of greater than or equal to 85 molar % is suitable. The present recording materials have the excellent water resistance, resistance to chemicals, running properties and manufacturing applicability.

The film gives a high quality image in rapid recording, even after stored for a long period of time, and the image fixability of the film is excellent.

The manufacturing apparatus also has a cooling mechanism for forcibly cooling the joined substrate with cooling air, a heating mechanism for heating the cushion layer to a temperature in a predetermined temperature range up to a glass transition temperature thereof, and a peeling mechanism for peeling off a base film of the photosensitive web from the heated joined substrate. The cooling mechanism, the heating mechanism, and the peeling mechanism are successively arranged in the direction in which the joined substrate is fed along.

    摘要: The present invention provides a black matrix containing metal fine particles, wherein the volume fraction of the metal fine particles is in a range from 0.05 to 0.70. The volume fraction is preferably is in a range from 0.10 to 0.55, and more preferably in a range from 0.2 to 0.50. The invention also provides a method of manufacturing the black matrix. The method is preferably a method comprising: forming a recording material having a layer formed by applying and drying a coating liquid containing metal fine particles on a temporary support; and transferring the layer onto a substrate. Further, the invention also provides a method comprising the step of applying onto or above the substrate the coating liquid containing the metal fine particles and then drying the coating liquid. In each of the methods, the coating liquid can have photosensitivity.
