摘要: A sound insulator of the invention includes a sound absorption layer 202 and an air-impermeable resonance layer 203, which are bonded to each other via an adhesive layer 204. The sound absorption layer 202 has a thickness in a range of 5 to 50 mm and an area-weight of not greater than 2000 g/m2. The sound absorption layer 202 has a two-layer structure of a high-density sound absorption layer 202a and a low-density sound absorption layer 202b, which have different densities. The high-density sound absorption layer 202a is bonded to the air-impermeable resonance layer 203 via the adhesive layer 204 and has a density in a range of 0.05 to 0.20 g/cm3 and a thickness in a range of 2 to 30 mm. The low-density sound absorption layer 202b is bonded to the other face of the high-density sound absorption layer 202a, which is opposite to the air-impermeable resonance layer 203, via an adhesive layer 202c and has a density in a range of 0.01 to 0.10 g/cm3 and a thickness in a range of 2 to 30 mm. The structure of this sound insulator effectively reduces a noise level in a voice-tone frequency band, especially in a high frequency domain, thereby efficiently enhancing the clarity of conversion in a vehicle interior.

摘要: A highly productive, continuous method for the production of room-temperature-curable organopolysiloxane compositions is obtained by continuously feeding 100 parts by weight of a diorganopolysiloxane with a viscosity at 25.degree. C. of 0.1 to 500 Pa.s that contains at least 2 silicon-bonded hydroxyl groups or hydrolyzable groups in each molecule; 1 to 30 parts by weight of an organosilane that contains at least 2 silicon-bonded hydrolyzable groups in each molecule, or the partial hydrolysis condensate thereof; 1 to 200 parts by weight of an inorganic filler in powder form, and 0 to 10 parts by weight of a cure-accelerating catalyst into a continuous mixing apparatus having starting material feed openings installed at its top, a discharge opening installed at its bottom, and a rotating disk installed within a casing and are therein mixed by the rotation of the said rotating disk, and in that the resulting mixture is thereafter continuously introduced into a vacuum mechanism- equipped degassing apparatus in which the water fraction present in the said mixture is removed under reduced pressure.

摘要: A fuel supply system has an in-tank module. The in-tank module is provided with a pump, a filter, a pressure regulator and a pressure sensor detecting a fuel pressure. The pressure sensor is disposed on or at a vicinity of the fuel pump so that the pressure sensor easily detects a pulsation component due to the pump. A fuel pump controller includes a speed detection module which detects the rotation speed of the fuel pump based on a cycle of the pulsation component of the pressure detected by the pressure sensor. Thus, the rotation speed of the fuel pump can be indirectly detected by means of the pressure sensor.

摘要: A canopy for a paraglider or a parachute. The canopy including upper and lower sides and a plurality of ribs extending between the sides and made of a mesh cloth. The upper and lower sides and the ribs define a plurality of cells which are arranged adjacent one another. Each of the cells has an opening at a front end thereof for introducing air into the canopy. The mesh cloth of the ribs includes large and small apertures disposed therein. According to one embodiment, either the large or the small apertures are arranged in matrix-like groups which are separated from one another by the other of the large and small apertures. According to another embodiment, the large and small apertures are disposed in groups which are arranged parallel to one another in the vertical direction.
