摘要： A sheet transport apparatus includes a pair of transporting rollers, a table and a table drive mechanism. The pair of transporting rollers consist of a driving roller and a driven roller. On the table are stacked a plurality of recording media to be supplied to the pair of transporting rollers. The table drive mechanism moves the table between two positions of a transport position and a standby position. The table drive mechanism descends the table to the standby position, from the transport position, after the uppermost recording medium of the recording media stacked on the table at the transport position is sandwiched between the driving roller and the driven roller.

摘要： Disclosed is a method for overcoating a protective layer by heating onto a printed recording medium to protect the recording medium. This method comprises providing a transferable sheet comprising a heat resistant substrate and a transferable layer, which serves as the protective layer, and a recording medium, putting the transferable sheet on the recording medium and, in this state, heating and pressing the transferable sheet and/or the recording medium to contact-bond the transferable layer onto the recording medium, and then heating and pressing the transferred layer contact-bonded to the recording medium. According to this method, a good protective layer can be overcoated onto the recording medium independenly of the shape of concaves and convexes formed on the surface of the recording medium.

摘要： A photographic processing apparatus includes a negative film outlet (60), a printing paper developing section (30), a print outlet (50) for cutting printing paper developed to predetermined lengths, and discharging the cut printing paper as prints, and a collating transport device (70) for receiving the negative films in units from the negative film outlet and the prints in units from the print outlet, and combining and transporting the negative films and prints as finished products. A piece negative inlet (15) is provided for feeding piece negatives (2) cut from one negative film to the photographic processing apparatus for passing the piece negatives through an exposing process therein. The piece negatives in one unit fed from the piece negative inlet to the exposing section and having undergone the exposing process are passed through a negative cutter (25) without being cut, discharged from the negative film outlet, and loaded into the collating transport device (70) to be combined with the prints in the corresponding unit.

摘要： A laminating apparatus and a laminating method for finely finishing laminate processing without performing edge processing after the laminate processing is performed to a recording medium. A laminate material having a size larger than that of the recording medium is placed to cover the recording medium, bonded with heat and pressure, and a laminate layer protruding from the recording medium is transferred to a means to be transferred to, which is arranged on an opposite plane side to a recording plane of the recording medium. When the means to be transferred to is arranged apart on the opposite plane side to the recording medium, the laminate layer is pulled into the opposite plane side to the recording medium. As a result, an edge of the laminate layer formed on the recording plane of the recording medium becomes fine, matching with an edge of the recording medium.

摘要： A paper mask device in which the position of longitudinal masks can be changed without damaging a web of printing paper. When it is changed from the borderless printing to the printing with border, one ends of the longitudinal masks are moved inwardly toward each other by means of a first transfer unit while keeping the other ends overlapped on the edges of the printing paper. A second transfer unit then operates to move the other ends of the longitudinal masks inwardly to set the width of the print size. The longitudinal masks can be overlapped on both edges of the printing paper without damaging it.
