    摘要: The stability is improved with which focus control is performed by an image capture device that brings a face region image into focus according to the contrast method. A human detection circuit 3 performs a human image search by using a threshold value Thh1. A face detection circuit 2 performs a face image search by using a threshold value Thf1. When an entire body image region corresponding to an entire body of a person is detected and a face image region corresponding to a face of the same person is detected in the captured image through the human image search and the face image search, the face detection circuit 2 performs redetermination with respect to the face image region by using a threshold value Thf2. The redetermination by using the threshold value Thf21 has higher accuracy compared to the face image search by using the threshold value Thf1.

    摘要: In a four-by-four orthogonal transform mode, an input data buffer enters a first half of entered eight pieces of pixel data, i.e., “x0A”, “x1A”, “x2A”, and “x3A”, into each of the first to fourth multiply-and-accumulation (MAC) operation circuits, while feeding a second half of the entered eight pieces of pixel data, i.e., “x0B”, “x1B”, “x2B”, and “x3B”, into each of the fifth to eighth MAC operation circuits. In an eight-by-eight orthogonal transform mode, the input data buffer feeds entered eight pieces of pixel data into each of the first to eighth MAC operation circuits. Since the input data buffer receives the eight pieces of pixel data in each of the four-by-four and eight-by-eight orthogonal transform modes, an orthogonal transform circuit is activated once in each of the four-by-four and eight-by-eight orthogonal transform modes. In both of the four-by-four and eight-by-eight orthogonal transform modes, the same first to eighth MAC operation circuits are used to produce the orthogonal transform coefficient data. This feature inhibits an increase in hardware area.

    摘要: An image processing unit decodes coded data that have been coded and synthesizes the decoded moving image with graphics data. In a case where only graphics data are to be displayed, a bypass unit outputs the graphics data to a display device without use of an image processing unit. A control unit performs control of the supplying of a power supply voltage and a clock to a region containing the image processing unit and performs control of the bypass unit. If processing at the image processing unit is unnecessary, the supply of a power supply voltage or the supply of a clock to the region containing the image processing unit is stopped so as to stop the region and enable reduction of wasteful power consumption.

An image processing apparatus (100) comprises: an image/distance acquiring unit (200) that acquires corresponding pixel pairs between left-eye and right-eye images, its depth information and its matching scores; a weight information calculating unit (300) that determines, for each of the pixel pairs, a weight of each of the pixels in a certain area including, as pixels of interest, the pixel pair on the basis of the depth information and the matching scores; and a pixel value superimposing unit (400) that applies, for each of the pixel pairs, the weight to the pixel values in the aforementioned certain area, thereby performing a smoothing process in at least one of the two images and that superimposes the two images using the values obtained by the smoothing process.
