摘要: The electromagnetic actuator is a linear electromagnetic actuator in which the relative position between a slide table that supports permanent magnets thereon and a guide rail that supports a coil, which is arranged in confronting relation to the permanent magnets, is displaced by means of a thrust force generated by a current flowing through the coil. The coil is disposed on the guide rail through a low coercive force magnetizable material body, the coercive force of which is lower than a predetermined value. Consequently, generation of residual magnetization can be suppressed, and an influence on the thrust force caused by such residual magnetization can also be suppressed.

摘要: A method for controlling an air cylinder such that air is supplied to and exhausted from pressure chambers of the air cylinder by air servo valves. Pressures in the pressure chambers are detected by pressure sensors, signals of the detected pressures are feedback to a controller, and the degrees of opening of the air servo valves are adjusted by corresponding PID adjusters of the controller on the basis of the respective differences between instruction values and detection values. The displacement of the rod of the air cylinder is detected by a displacement sensor, and a detection signal of the displacement is fed back to the controller so that a gain of the PID adjuster is always changed in accordance with the detection signal of the displacement.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a simple, inexpensive linear actuator which is capable of controlling the displacement of the movable body by regulating the amount of electric energy applied without the necessity of detecting the displacement of the movable body with a displacement sensor or controlling the displacement of the movable body by feedback control in response to the detected value. The linear actuator comprises an electromagnetic unit which generates magnetic force in response to the amount of electric energy applied, a movable body which is displaced linearly by magnetic force as thrust force which is supplied from the electromagnetic unit, a spring means which applies a spring force to the movable body in the direction opposite to the direction of said thrust force, and a control apparatus which controls the amount of electric energy to be applied to said electromagnetic unit, wherein said control apparatus is so constructed as to control the rate of displacement of said movable body in response to the amount of electric energy applied, with voltage or current applied to said electromagnetic unit varying from that which generates a thrust force balancing with said spring force.

摘要: A linear actuator displaces a relative position between a guide rail and a slide table, which is arranged in confronting relation to the guide rail. Projections are formed on opposite end sides of the guide rail, the projections extending along a direction of displacement and projecting toward the slide table. The slide table is disposed between the projections on the opposite end sides of the guide rail, with rigid balls being interposed therebetween. Guide grooves and guide grooves, which rollably support the balls, are provided on the projections on the opposite end sides of the guide rail and on the slide table. The guide grooves and the guide grooves apply, on the balls, a pressure caused by a magnetic attractive force of permanent magnets.

In the fluid pressure cylinder with the magnetostriction type position detecting device having a permanent magnet attached to the piston and a magnetostrictive line accommodated in a hollow portion of a cylinder tube, the cylinder tube is formed of a non-magnetic conductive material, the magnetostrictive line composed of a ferromagnetic material is inserted into the hollow portion, and the extreme end of the magnetostrictive line is electrically connected to the cylinder tube through a support metal fitting, thereby the cylinder tube is also used as a current feedback conductor.
