摘要： The present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a liquid crystal display, the method including; disposing a thin film transistor having an input terminal and an output terminal on a first substrate, connecting a pixel electrode to the output terminal, disposing an organic layer on the pixel electrode, forming a first alignment layer having at least two different alignment directions by disposing a mask on the organic layer and radiating an ion beam to the organic layer, disposing a common electrode on a second substrate corresponding to the first substrate, forming a second alignment layer having at least two different alignment directions on the common electrode, and disposing a liquid crystal layer between the first alignment layer and the second alignment layer.

摘要： An integrated circuit package system including a substrate with a top surface and a bottom surface. Configuring the top surface to include electrical contacts formed between a perimeter of the substrate and a semiconductor die. Aligning over the top surface of the substrate a mold plate with a honeycomb meshwork of posts or a stepped honeycomb meshwork of posts and depositing a material to prevent warpage of the substrate between the top surface of the substrate and the mold plate. Removing the mold plate to reveal discrete hollow conduits formed within the material that align with the electrical contacts.

摘要： A transflective liquid crystal display includes a liquid crystal panel including a first substrate, a second substrate, a liquid crystal layer, the first and second substrates arranged to face each other and the liquid crystal layer between the first and second substrates, a reflection polarizer and an absorption polarizer at opposing outer sides of the liquid crystal panel, and a backlight unit at an outer side of the liquid crystal panel and supplying light to the inside of the liquid crystal panel. A reflective axis of the reflection polarizer is parallel with a transmissive axis of the absorption polarizer, the transmissive axis of the reflection polarizer perpendicularly crosses the transmissive axis of the absorption polarize, and the liquid crystal layer includes liquid crystal molecules and a dichroic dye.

摘要： A gray scale voltage generator and a method of generating a gray scale voltage in a transmissive and reflective type liquid crystal display device are disclosed. A transmissive mode gray scale data are transformed into real reflective mode gray scale data. An integer part is extracted from the real reflective mode gray scale data as a first reflective mode gray scale data. The first reflective mode gray scale data and temporary reflective mode gray scale data are mixed in a predetermined ratio by N-frame period. The temporary reflective mode gray scale data has a sum of one and the first reflective mode gray scale data. Pseudo gray scale data are inserted into the second reflective mode gray scale data. Therefore, superior display quality is provided in both transmissive and reflective mode.

摘要： A gray scale voltage generator and a method of generating a gray scale voltage in a transmissive and reflective type liquid crystal display device are disclosed.
