    摘要: A secondary battery comprising a cathode, an anode, a separator and an electrolyte that comprises a eutectic mixture formed of: an amide group-containing compound, and an ionizable lithium salt. The anode comprises a metal or metal oxide having a potential vs. lithium potential (Li/Li+) within electrochemical window of the eutectic mixture. Because the secondary battery uses a eutectic mixture as an electrolyte in combination with an anode having a potential vs. lithium potential (Li/Li+) within the electrochemical window of the eutectic mixture, problems such as decomposition of an electrolyte and degradation of the quality of a battery are avoided. Also, due to the thermal and chemical stability, high conductivity and a broad electrochemical window of a eutectic mixture, it is possible to improve the quality as well as safety of a battery.

    摘要: Disclosed is an electrolyte for electrochromic devices, which includes a eutectic mixture comprising: (a) a compound having an acidic functional group and basic functional group; and (b) an ionizable lithium salt. An electrochromic device using the same electrolyte is also disclosed. Because the electrochromic device uses the electrolyte comprising the eutectic mixture, which is cost-efficient and has excellent thermal and chemical stability, there are no problems related with evaporation and exhaustion as well as flammability of electrolyte. Additionally, it is possible to minimize side reactions with constitutional elements of an electrochromic device and electrolyte, thereby improving the safety. Further, it is also possible to improve the quality of an electrochromic device by virtue of a broad electrochemical window and high electroconductivity of the eutectic mixture.

    摘要: Disclosed is an electrochromic device comprising: (a) a first electrode; (b) a second electrode; (c) an electrochromic material; and (d) a gel polymer electrolyte containing an ionic liquid. A method for manufacturing the same is also disclosed. The electrochromic device uses a gel polymer electrolyte comprising an ionic liquid. Therefore, there is no problem related with electrolyte leakage. Additionally, it is possible to manufacture electrochromic devices by using plastic materials, because the ionic liquid gel polymer electrolyte permits structural deformation with ease. Further, because the electrochromic device uses an ionic liquid, it is possible to minimize side reactions between constitutional elements of an electrochromic device and electrolyte.

The electrolyte uses a eutectic mixture in combination with an additive reduced in advance of the eutectic mixture upon the initial charge to form a solid electrolyte interface (SEI) layer. Therefore, the electrolyte can solve the problem of electrolyte decomposition occurring when using a eutectic mixture alone as an electrolyte for a battery, and thus can prevent degradation of the quality of a battery.

    摘要: An olefinic polymer having improved molecular weight distribution and bulk density is prepared by polymerizing an olefinic monomer and, optionally, a comonomer in the presence of a supported catalyst comprising a modified metallocene and an alkylaluminoxane supported on a carrier in an aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent, the modified metallocene being derived from a metallocene of formula(I) by introducing at least one C5-20 alkyl substituent into a &pgr;-ligand, C1-4 alkylene bridge or silicon bridge thereof and the alkylaluminoxane having a repeating unit of formula(II): wherein: M is Ti, Zr or Hf; X is a halogen, or a C1-3 alkyl group; L1 and L2 are each a &pgr;-ligand selected from the group consisting of cyclopentadienyl, indenyl, fluorenyl and derivatives thereof, and are optionally linked together by a C1-4 alkylene bridge or by a silicon bridge; m is an integer of 2 or more; and R1 is a C1-20 alkyl group.
