    摘要： A diagonal brace connector and method is disclosed. The connector includes an upper planar member and a lower planar member connected by a rigid webbing. A center screw boss is disposed continuously and laterally along the webbing. The screw boss is adapted to receive a screw fastened through a structural member and into the screw boss. A corner screw boss is along the corner between the webbing and the lower flange. The corner boss is similarly designed to accept a screw fastened through a structural member and into the screw boss. A pair of parallel grooves are formed in the webbing to provide a visual guide for the locations to install permanent fasteners. The alignment grooves are disposed such that the screw bosses of adjoining members do not interfere with the permanent fasteners.

    摘要： In an embodiment, a wall oven has a cooking cavity surrounded by a baffled cavity. The wall oven has a door for restricting access to the cooking cavity. A control cavity has a front surface maintaining controls for operation of the wall oven. An exhaust fan is in flow communication with the control cavity and the baffled cavity for directing air from the control cavity and the baffled cavity into an exhaust cavity. An air divider separates the control cavity from the exhaust cavity. A method for cooling a control panel of a wall oven is also disclosed.

The apparatus provides a structural barrier for the production process systems of the platform, shielding such systems from heavy objects which may be dropped in the course of rig mobilization and skidding procedures. A method of installing an embodiment of the apparatus allows the barrier to be installed without shutting in the production wells.

    摘要： A configuration for a transport node of a telecommunication system comprises a pair of transparent mux/demuxs provided at two sites and connected over a high rate span. The T-Muxs provide continuity of all tribs and maintain a lower bit rate linear or ring system through the higher bit rate span. The lower bit rate linear or ring system operates as if it were directly connected without the higher bit rate midsection. For the forward direction of the traffic, the T-Mux comprises a multi-channel receiver for receiving a the trib signals and providing for each trib signal a trib data signal and a trib OAM&P signal. The data signals are multiplexed into a supercarrier data signal and the OAM&P signals are processed to generate a supercarrier OAM&P signal. A supercarrier transmitter maps the supercarrier data signal and the supercarrier OAM&P signal into a supercarrier signal and transmits same over the high rate span. Reverse operations are effected for the reverse direction of traffic. With this invention, an entire ring system does not have to be upgraded to a higher line rate due to fiber exhaust on a single span. The invention is particularly applicable to SONET OC-48/OC-12/OC-3 linear and ring networks and the high rate span could be an OC-192 line.
