Abstract:
Disclosed is a liner for catching items that fall between seat cushions of a furniture or between a front seat of a vehicle and a center console thereof. The device includes rectangular liner having an open upper end, a closed lower end, a first end, and a second end, defining an interior volume. In one embodiment, the liner is adapted to fold into thirds so as to form a middle panel and two side panels adjacent thereto. The device is adapted to removably attach between the seat cushions or between the front seat of a vehicle and a center console by means of a hook and loop fastener disposed at the upper end of the liner. In this way, the present invention can be used to collect loose items that fall out of a user's pocket when sitting on the furniture or the front seat of a vehicle.
Abstract:
A reinforcement for a corner mounting hole in a sheet of paper is disclosed. The reinforcement comprises a corner shaped pocket member made of paper or other similar material. The pocket includes a front wall and a back wall, each of which is coated on its inside surface with a layer of a moisture activated adhesive. Each wall further includes a hole which is located so as to be in registration with the corner mounting hole in the sheet of paper when the corner shaped pocket member is mounted onto the corner of the sheet. In using the reinforcement, the inside surfaces of the front and back walls are first moistened. The pocket is then slidably mounted onto the corner of the sheet of paper and then fixed in place with the holes in registration with the mounting hole to be reinforced. The reinforcement is especially useful in repairing or reinforcing the corner mounting holes in sheets of computer printout paper.
Abstract:
Deboned meat is subjected to processing in a surimi-type procedure in order to substantially reduce the heme content and thus the color intensity of the deboned meat, with bone marrow components and fat also being removed. When desired, the washed meat is subjected to dewatering, such as by pressing, in order to provide a color and fat reduced deboned meat. Multiple-stage separation is practiced, and the protein yield of the washed meat is advantageously elevated.
Abstract:
A voltage variable material (“VVM”) including an insulative binder that is formulated to intrinsically adhere to conductive and non-conductive surfaces is provided. The binder and thus the VVM is self-curable and applicable in a spreadable form that dries before use. The binder eliminates the need to place the VVM in a separate device or to provide separate printed circuit board pads on which to electrically connect the VVM. The binder and thus the VVM can be directly applied to many different types of substrates, such as a rigid FR-4 laminate, a polyimide, a polymer or a multilayer PCB via a process such as screen or stencil printing. In one embodiment, the VVM includes two types of conductive particles, one with a core and one without a core. The VVM can also have core-shell type semiconductive particles.
