Abstract:
An ultrasound cavital probe suitable for transrectal or other usage, includes an ultrasound probe, having an outer housing, a pair of motors within one end of the housing, a first shaft operatively associated with one of the motors to provide longitudinal movement to the ultrasound transducer, while a second shaft operatively associated with the second motor, and which extends through the hollow interior of the first said shaft, provides for pivotal or rotary movement to the ultrasound transducer and probe, to furnish a 2-dimensional view of the surrounding anatomy, and which in combination with the movement from the first shaft, furnishes a 3-dimensional volumetric scan of the surrounding anatomy, along with facilitating the image plane movements normally obtained by a standard probe while used in a stepping device, and integrated electronics package operatively provided within the ultrasonic probe for use for processing scanned signals, their digitization, and their transmission by a controller to a personal computer for further processing and display.
Abstract:
A variable geometry lighter-than-air craft which can change from a buoyant airship to a heavier-than-air craft by changing shape. The craft has a flexible envelope filled with helium or other lifting gas. Releasing or tightening the adjusting lines changes the envelope shape by adjusting the internal dimensions and extending or withdrawing wing expansion sections. The craft's shape can change from an ovoid shape for lighter-than-air flight to a winged shape for heavier-than-air flight. Controlling the craft's speed and trim regulates the aerodynamic lift.
Abstract:
A security-to-entity crosswalk system and method link business entity information to financial security information to provide risk insight about the business entity associated with a given security. The system comprises a collection of financial securities data, a collection of business entity data, and an integration component. The integration component links the collection of financial securities data with the collection of business entity data into a collection of master data. A business entity identifier is appended to an issuing entity in a collection of data. The business entity identifier is linked to a financial security identifier in the collection of data. Business information associated with said issuing entity is provided.
Abstract:
This invention relates generally to the targeting and biopsy of tissue for medical purposes, and more particularly to a targeted biopsy system which allows planning of tissue to be sampled, targeting of specific areas of tissue in reference to the plan, capturing the tissue sample and recording the source location of the tissue sample, particularly for use in collecting tissue samples from the prostate gland. A further purpose of this invention is to provide a targeted treatment system which allows planning of tissue to be treated, targeting of specific areas of tissue in reference to the plan, and delivering the treatment to the targeted tissue.

Abstract:
An oil separator device for removing a substantial portion of the oil contained in the crankcase fumes of an internal combustion engine. The device is designed to be mounted on the inside of a rocker arm cover of the engine as a part of the crankcase ventilation system. Internal baffles direct a laminar flow of crankcase fumes through the separator canister along a folded path from an inlet in the bottom of the canister to an outlet in the top. Partially isolated channels extend along opposite edges of the flow path. Oil in the fumes attaches itself to the internal surfaces of the separator and flows down these surfaces, which are inclined, to a sump in the bottom. A tubular assembly connected to the bottom of the separator provides combined fume inlet and oil return passageways. The distal end of this tubular assembly has a special configuration which tends to prevent the upward flow of fumes through the oil return passageway, enhance the downward return flow of separated oil therein and prevent the reintroduction of returning oil into the fume stream inlet.
Abstract:
Liquid thixotropic isocyanate-terminated prepolymers are prepared by the reaction of a polyarylene polyalkylene polyisocyanate or diphenylmethane diisocyanate with certain graft polyols. The resulting prepolymers are particularly useful in the preparation of polyurethane coating compositions.

Abstract:
A hand powered tool for installing a removable fastener of the type having an elongated shaft, a fixed support and a plunger. The plunger is biased relative to the fixed support for installation and removal of the removable fastener in a pre-drilled hole of a workpiece by applying force to the plunger relative to the fixed support. The elongated shaft is operably connected to the plunger whereby movement of the plunger relative to the fixed support varies the diameter of the elongated shaft such that the diameter of the removable fastener can be decreased to permit insertion of the elongated shaft into the hole of the workpiece, and increased to prevent removal of the elongated shaft from the hole formed in the workpiece. The tool is provided with a barrel assembly, a fastener assembly and a handle assembly. The barrel assembly has an elongated barrel, and an anvil supported by the elongated barrel such that the anvil is movable in a first direction and a second direction. The fastener assembly stabilizes the fixed support of the removable fastener such that the plunger of the removable fastener is positioned adjacent to the anvil. The handle assembly is powered by a hand of an individual for selectively moving the anvil in the first direction and the second direction.
Abstract:
A biopsy device incorporating a housing, having a slide member therein, with one of a stylet or cannula connecting to the slide, while the other is fixed to the housing, such that when the slide member is shifted longitudinally within the housing, a displacement occurs between the forwardmost portions of the stylet and cannula, generating a reduced pressure therein, for aspirating a biopsy for analysis.
