    摘要: One or more apparatuses are provided for forming a seal between a circuit breaker and an enclosure. A adjustable door assembly comprises an inner floating frame assembly positioned according to a floating configuration between a first external flange and a second external flange that connect to an enclosure door of an enclosure housing a circuit breaker. The inner floating frame assembly comprises an inner floating frame and an inner floating box frame. An adjustable coupling is used to apply a force, between the inner floating frame and the inner floating frame box, to the inner floating box frame towards a front side of the circuit breaker to form a seal between the front side of the circuit breaker and the enclosure door. The seal may provide a barrier for mitigating arc flash, hazardous gases, material, and/or explosive force from escaping from a backside of the circuit breaker.

    摘要: A dual interface separable insulated connector comprising a faraday cage molded over a bus bar for use in an electric power system and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. The faraday cage can be disposed within a semi-conductive shell. The configuration of the separable insulated connector can provide for easier bonding between the faraday cage and insulating material. Additionally, the configuration can eliminate or reduce the need to coat the bus bar with an adhesive agent and to smooth the metal bus bar to remove burrs, other irregularities, and sharp corners from the bar. Manufacturing the dual interface separable insulated connector can include molding a semi-conductive rubber faraday cage over a conductive bus bar, inserting the faraday cage into a shell, and injecting insulating material between the faraday cage and shell.

    摘要: A contactless proximity switch and mounting arrangement for determining the position of a movable member within a cylinder which has two end covers secured on the cylinder by means of a plurality of tie rods, includes a switch housing which secures to one of the tie rods. A contact opening formed in the switch housing has disposed therein, a switch having a pair of contacts and a permanent magnet disposed in a fixed manner. One pole of the permanent magnet is connected to a first contact, while the second pole is disposed in a contacting relation to the cylinder. A second contact is electrically coupled to the cylinder at a position a predetermined distance from where the second pole is disposed. As the movable member, which is constructed of a ferromagnetic material, nears the switch housing, the air gap between the second contact and second pole is bridged and the contacts close indicating the proximity of the movable member to the switch element. The entire proximity switch apparatus can be moved along the longitudinal axis of the cylinder.
