Abstract:
An encrypted file is decrypted to gain access to a stored hash value for a credentials setting component. A test hash value of the credentials setting component is formed. Before decrypting a set of encrypted credentials to form decrypted credentials, it is required that the test hash value of the credentials setting component match the stored hash value of the credentials setting component. The decrypted credentials are then passed to the credentials setting component to set credentials that instructions are to be executed under.
Abstract:
Method and apparatus for storage and retrieval of vehicles, particularly in parking lots surrounding shopping malls, airports, stadiums and the like is disclosed. The method includes identification of the vehicle owner and the stored vehicle with a common code utilizing a two part identifier. The first part of the identifier is used to imprint an identifying code on the vehicle owner and is also attached to the vehicle while it is stored. The second part of the identifier with the same code is attached to the vehicle's keys which are kept in a secure facility. The vehicle's description and location in the parking lot is recorded on the second part and is also inputed to a central computer which maintains data on each vehicle stored. When the vehicle owner wants to retrieve his or her vehicle, the code inprinted on the owner is read and transmitted to the area where the vehicle is stored along with the location where the vehicle is to be delivered. That code is used to locate the vehicle in the parking area, which is then driven to the location desired by the vehicle owner.
Abstract:
A continuous process is provided for preparing alkanolamines having a high yield of monoalkanolamine, which comprises continuously reacting a flowing stream of a homogeneous mixture of an alkylene oxide having from two to four carbon atoms and ammonia in a molar ratio of ammonia to alkylene oxide within the range from about 15:1 to about 50:1 at temperatures above the critical temperature of the mixture and at pressures above the critical pressure of the mixture and maintaining the mixture in a single phase having a density of at least 15 lbs./cu.ft. for the time necessary to form an alkanolamine product mixture containing at least about 65% by weight monoalkanolamine.
Abstract:
An electronic system for providing a stable, isochronous clock signal with very low jitter and slew rate to thereby permit multiplexing of data from an external source which is not synchronous with the multiplexer frame rate.
Abstract:
A system for removing frozen precipitation that has accumulated on a surface of a road vehicle is disclosed. In an embodiment, the system includes a hydrophobic and/or low friction sheet attached to an upper surface of the road vehicle. The system may further include a heating array attached to the surface and a power source.
Abstract:
Imaging apparatus in accordance with the present invention generally include a housing and a portal defined therethrough, whereby a vacuum filter cartridge can be placed in an operable position within the housing by way of the portal. The vacuum filter cartridge can have a hose operatively connected thereto. Air can be induced to flow into and through the hose, and thereby into and through the vacuum filter cartridge. The airflow can have a velocity sufficient to cause debris to be inducted into the hose and into the vacuum filter cartridge to be filtered, thus rendering the vacuum filter cartridge and hose operable as a cleaning device.
Abstract:
A self cleaning rotary screen of an agricultural combine is provided with a planar circular screen that is secured to an outwardly extending circular flange having an external groove and an internal groove. The screen is rotatably coupled to a pivotable door by a plurality of freely rotatable wheels which engage the internal groove of the flange. Also secured to the door are two freely rotatable idler sheaves located adjacent to the pivot axis of the door so that the centerpoint of the endless belt when coupled to the outer periphery of the sheaves forms a tangent axis that is substantially aligned with the pivot axis of the door. A driving sheave is operatively coupled to the propulsion system of the combine and is provided with a central rotational axis that intersects the tangent axis of the idler sheaves.

Abstract:
Kit for preparing a package for dispensing solid products such as pills, said kit comprising:(1) at least one blister tray having a single compartment or an array of compartments, and(2) at least one sheet bearing an adhesive on one major surface thereof and having dimensions such that it is capable of covering said single compartment or said array of compartments. In another aspect of this invention, a plurality of the aforementioned sheets can be aggregated into a pad, from which the sheets can be conveniently dispensed.
Abstract:
A trotline storage and dispensing device is disclosed. The device includes a base wall, first and second pairs of side walls extending upwardly from the base wall, and a divider wall extending substantially parallel to each of the first pair of side walls and between each wall of the second pair of side walls. A pair of storage compartments, each bounded by the base wall, one of the first pair of side walls, the divider wall and the second pair of side walls is thus formed. Hook storage and dispensing tubes are disposed at the top of and extend along each of the first pair of side walls. Each of the storage compartments receives a trotline, while the hook storage and dispensing tubes receive and retain hooks connected by leaders to the trotline so that as the storage and dispensing device is moved away from an anchored end of each trotline, the trotline, leaders and hooks are pulled over one of the second pair of side walls and out of the storage and dispensing device.
