摘要： A two-stage method of preparing essentially pure amino acid chelates, wherein the first stage comprises contacting a metal ion from a metal oxide or hydroxide with an amino acid thereby producing a metal hydroxyl amino acetate. The second stage comprises contacting the metal hydroxyl amino acetate from the first stage, with at least one amino-containing compound provided in excess thereby producing a reaction solution containing an amino acid chelate reaction product comprising a metal ion bound to a plurality of amino acid ligands wherein the plurality of amino acid ligands is equal to the coordination number of the metal ion, and then separating the amino acid chelate from the reaction solution. The second stage may include a plurality of steps for sequentially reacting the reaction product with a plurality of amino-containing compounds. The amino acid chelates thus produced can be incorporated into compositions comprising beverages, foodstuffs, nutraceuticals and pharmaceutical adjuvants.

This method is executable in a processing system. The processing system includes a processor coupled to a display and user input device. The method comprises displaying an icon corresponding to a device in the network, a plurality of interface indicia associated with traffic flow through the device policy-related information of devices in a network, and, a pair of traffic indicia that indicate a direction of traffic flow with respect to the plurality of interface indicia and the icon. A signal is then accepted from the user input device to indicate selection of an interface indicium. Finally, the policy information of an interface associated with the interface indicium is displayed in accordance with a direction of traffic flow in response to the signal from the user input device.

The form is associated with either a first submit method or a second submit method. The first submit method is for obtaining information about a state of a particular network device. In response to activation of the submit button in the client process, routines are executed to operate on the particular network device based on which submit method was associated with the form. Using these techniques, a single set of input fields can be designed for both displaying and editing the state of network devices.

The dry suspendible enteric coating composition comprises a pH-dependent polymer selected from a group containing alginates and alginic acids, a pH-independent water insoluble polymer selected from the group comprising ethylcellulose and ethylcellulose-containing compositions, and a plasticizer selected from the group containing triethyl citrate, glycerin, propylene glycol, triacetin, acetylated monoglycerides, dibutyl sebacate, polyethylene glycols, sorbitals, middle chain triglycerides and combinations thereof. A three-step method for providing a stable outer enteric coating on an ingestible item comprising a first step of encasing the item with a suspension comprising a mixture of at least a sugar and a microcrystalline cellulose, a second step of then encasing the item with a suspension comprising a mixture of a film-forming polymer and a plasticizer, and a third step of finally encasing the item with the enteric coating composition.
