    摘要: A request for establishing an IP session from a mobile device to be activated and connected to a cellular network is redirected to a web portal or platform of the cellular network. When the mobile device sends an authentication request for requesting establishment of an IP session to the cellular network, the mobile device receives a restricted IP address from the cellular network if the mobile device is not currently authorized for communication via the cellular network. A reverse domain name system lookup is performed on the restricted IP address to find a host name of a web portal or platform of the cellular network corresponding to the restricted IP address. The mobile device determines whether or not redirection of an IP communication request to the web portal or platform of the cellular network is to occur based on the host name.

    摘要: A home network may track data usage in real time by a wireless mobile communication device while roaming in a GSM network that is separate from the home network. A Home Location Register (HLR) may receive location information indicative of the location of the wireless mobile communication device in the GSM network. An Online Charging System (OCS) may receive the location information directly or indirectly from the Home Location Register. The Online Charging System may use this location information to determine data rates and cutoff limits which are consistent with subscriber plans and are based on the location of the mobile communication device. This information may be communicated to roaming subscribers in real time and/or used to cut off data communication.

    摘要: A digital wireless telephone downloads software related to digital telephone services using a client browser. The digital telephone initiates a data call to an interworking unit via a digital wireless telephone network, using a prescribed wireless data protocol such as IS-95A. The interworking unit recovers the payload of the wireless data packets to establish a two-way data link with the digital telephone. The interworking unit sends data messages to a destination server across a second two-way data link in a packet switched network to establish a two way session between the digital telephone and the destination server. The user of the digital telephone can thus communicate with the server via a two-way application-layer session using hypertext-based messaging. The digital telephone can thus navigate between different servers on the packet switched network for activation of different digital telephone services, and for downloading new software or updating existing software related to the digital telephone services.

In response to an emergency in a region, a mobile switching center may be configured to restrict communications of mobile stations in the region through an identified cell site base station controlled by the mobile switching center during the emergency while the identified cell site base station continues wireless radio frequency transmissions. This configuration may be accomplished with the use of a trigger, such as a Specific_Called_Party_Digit_String trigger. While the mobile switching center is configured for the emergency, a designated trigger condition may be detected with respect to an attempted communication for a mobile station through the identified cell site base station.

    摘要: A novel scheme for screening weak memory cell includes a cell coupled to a leakage stress delivery circuitry (LSDC), which, in turn, is coupled to an induced leakage adjustment control (ILAC). The LSDC includes a combination of PMOS transistors, NMOS transistors or both PMOS and NMOS transistors that are controlled by a plurality of stress inducing signals. The PMOS and/or NMOS transistors of the LSDC are coupled to a pair of complementary data lines. The complementary data lines are inputs to a sense amplifier and are outputs of a write driver. The ILAC controls the quantity of the leakage stress applied through the LSDC to the pair of complementary data lines. The ILAC further includes a leakage varying circuitry that is configured to adjust the leakage stress applied to the complementary data lines through the LSDC. The applied leakage stress is adjusted to establish a desired pass/fail threshold and to detect other process variations or defects so that the sense amplifier can be applied to detect the voltage differential during a read operation. The applied leakage stress can also be applied to write driver circuitry such that a write driver along with the applied stress provide enough voltage level to screen difficult-to-write cell from a easy-to-write cell during a write operation. The plurality of stress inducing signals are controlled such that the appropriate leakage stress may be applied to force a leakage to Vdd or Vss associated with the cell through the complementary data lines.
