    摘要： A low-frequency, temporally asymmetric watermark carrier decreases in luminance in a substantially monotonic manner more slowly than it increases in luminance in a substantially monotonic manner. This allows the carrier to be embedded, e.g., in a video work, in a manner that renders the resultant watermark virtually invisible to the human eye. Moreover, the resultant watermark is substantially resistant to common pirating techniques in which high-frequency visual content (e.g., including watermark data) tends to be filtered out by piracy processing.

    摘要： A digitised audio signal, such as an amateur's singing, and a digital guide audio signal are supplied to a time alignment process that produces a time-aligned new signal, time-aligned to the guide signal. Pitch along the time-aligned new signal and along the guide signal is measured in processes and which supply these measurement to a pitch adjustment calculator which calculates a pitch correction factor C's(Fps) from these measurements and the nearest octave ratio of the signals. A pitch changing process modulates the pitch of the time-aligned new signal to produce a time-aligned and pitch adjusted new signal.

    摘要： A method and apparatus for measuring the geometry of a rail for a railroad track which includes mounting first and second cameras in back to back relationship to create a single camera axis passing through the camera lenses and to define a coordinate system with an origin centered between the cameras on the camera axis. First and second targets are placed on the rail to be measured and spaced an equal distance from the origin between first and second cameras respectively. The first and second cameras record the position of the first and second targets and provide position signals from which the mid-chord value of a chord extending between the first and second targets is computed.

A system and method are provided for defining an index print product as a collection of regions which may be pieced together to present a final index product. The index product is customizable for and by any one or more retailers or integration partner providers for a unique appearance and offering to end customers. More specifically, the present invention relates to providing dynamic index print products of photographic images wherein the index print product may also include other content that is individually specified, provided and maintained by partner providers of a film processor or fulfillment center. Providers are able to leverage customized marketing and brand messaging or other advertisement to add value to their index print product.

    摘要： Digital audio and video files are created corresponding to selected scenes from a creative production and are provided with a processing system that enables dialog to be selected from a scene and replaced by a user's dialog which is automatically synchronized with the original dialog so as to be in synchronism with lip movements displayed by the accompanying video display. The processing further includes a graphical user interface that presents the user with the video, the text of the dialog, and cues for rehearsal and recording of replacement dialog by the user. Replay of the user's dialog is accompanied by the video and part of the original audio except that the original dialog corresponding to the user's dialog is muted so that the user's dialog is heard as a replacement. Singing or other sounds associated with visible action may also be replaced by the same processes.
