摘要： The present invention utilizes cloud-based remote Platform as a Service (PaaS) System, together with a short message service (SMS), multi-media message service (MMS) or enhanced messaging service (EMS) text messaging based platforms to create a near real time interactive communications and reverse marketing system, thereby providing merchants, retailers and or sellers the means to rapidly and effectively communicate with their respective customers via the customers' mobile computing devices facilitating the sale of a product or service. The merchant's cloud-based system, which comprises a microprocessor, memory, and communication interface permits the merchant to directly send to and receive messages from the customers' mobile computing device and to detect and to interface with native applications residing on the customers' mobile computing device, thereby allowing the customer to execute near real-time processes to request additional product information, make a bid or counter-offer for products or services or to immediately purchase products or services from the customers' mobile computing device. At the same time, the customer can maintain its own private portal within the merchants' cloud-based system, which allows the customers to store product information for future reference or future purchase, forward and share specific product information to friends via the social media network, communicate directly with the merchant with questions, comments or counter-offers concerning specific products or services or to purchase product or services via mobile payment systems native to the customers' mobile computing device.

摘要： A head-mounted display (HMD) device is provided with reduced motion blur by reducing row duty cycle for an organic light-emitting diode (LED) panel as a function of a detected movement of a user's head. Further, a panel duty cycle of the panel is increased in concert with the decrease in the row duty cycle to maintain a constant brightness. The technique is applicable, e.g., to scenarios in which an augmented reality image is displayed in a specific location in world coordinates. A sensor such as an accelerometer or gyroscope can be used to obtain an angular velocity of a user's head. The angular velocity indicates a number of pixels subtended in a frame period according to an angular resolution of the LED panel. The duty cycles can be set, e.g., once per frame, based on the angular velocity or the number of pixels subtended in a frame period.

The bus has a core transmitter circuit associated with each output of the multiple audio transmitters and each core transmitter circuit generates a pair of balanced differentiated outputs. The virtual hole, window or cutout may appear to be within some real world physical object such as a book, table, etc. The virtual object may appear to be just below the surface of the physical object. In a sense, the virtual world could be considered to be a virtual container that provides developers with additional locations for presenting virtual objects. For example, rather than rendering a virtual object, such as a lamp, in a mixed reality display such that appears to sit on top of a real world desk, the virtual object is rendered such that it appears to be located below the surface of the desk.

摘要： The present invention is a security and fraud prevention system which utilizes and controls security devices and uses short message text (SMS) notifications to enhance the security of point-of-sale credit or debit card transactions, using card swipe terminals at retail checkout stations. The invention, through the use of the System's firmware programmed on and located within the card swipe terminal, directs a remote digital camera located at the point-of-sale checkout station, to take a simultaneous photo of the respective cardholder, each time a credit or debit card is swiped at that checkout station. The photo is time stamped and stamped with the identical transaction number and transaction information, which is otherwise generated by the swipe terminal when the credit or debit card is swiped and details of the transaction are transmitted to the VPN for purchase authorization. The time stamped and fully identified photo is then stored on a remote server located on merchant's premises, for possible retrieval and use in the event of a fraudulent transaction. When the VPN receives the transaction for authorization from the participating merchant, it will be instructed to send an SMS text message to the cardholder. The SMS text message will alert the cardholder that its card has been used and ask whether or not that transaction has been attempted by the cardholder. If the cardholder responds yes, the transaction goes through as authorized. If the cardholder answers no, an additional prompt will ask the cardholder again, whether or not the cardholder is certain that the transaction is not theirs. If the no is confirmed, the VPN will alert the merchant that a fraudulent transaction has taken place and cancels the card to prevent future fraudulent use. The present invention then allows the merchant to retrieve the photo identification of the transaction and the perpetrator, to be used for possible prosecution of the violator and to create an in-house database of violators to be used by the merchant's security officers.

摘要： An audio/visual system (e.g., such as an entertainment console or other computing device) plays a base audio track, such as a portion of a pre-recorded song or notes from one or more instruments. Using a depth camera or other sensor, the system automatically detects that a user (or a portion of the user) enters a first collision volume of a plurality of collision volumes. Each collision volume of the plurality of collision volumes is associated with a different audio stem. In one example, an audio stem is a sound from a subset of instruments playing a song, a portion of a vocal track for a song, or notes from one or more instruments. In response to automatically detecting that the user (or a portion of the user) entered the first collision volume, the appropriate audio stem associated with the first collision volume is added to the base audio track or removed from the base audio track.
