摘要: A method and apparatus for estimating a rock strength profile of a formation is disclosed. A tool having a testing surface is conveyed into a wellbore in the formation. The testing surface is propelled to impact the formation at a plurality of depths in the wellbore. A measurement of hardness of the formation is obtained from a rebound of the testing surface from the formation at the plurality of depths. The rock strength profile of the formation is estimated using the obtained measurements of hardness at the plurality of depths. A parameter for drilling the wellbore can be affected using the estimated rock strength profile.

摘要: Disclosed herein is a method for manufacturing a touch panel including: (A) applying a spinning solution including metal, a metal oxide, a conductive polymer, carbon nanotubes (CNTs), graphene, or any combination thereof to one surface of a transparent substrate through an electro spinning process to form an electrode layer; and (B) patterning the electrode layer by a laser to form a sensing electrode. Since sensing electrodes are formed through an electro spinning process without using high-priced equipment, the overall manufacturing costs of the touch panel can be reduced.

摘要: Disclosed is a conductive polymer composition including a conductive polymer, a dopant, a solvent, and a thixotropic agent. The conductive polymer composition includes the thixotropic agent in lieu of a binder, so that the viscosity of the conductive polymer composition is high and the electrical conductivity thereof is superior. The thixotropic agent can reversibly change the viscosity by expansion and shrinkage, thus adjusting the viscosity of the conductive polymer composition depending on the end uses.

摘要: Disclosed herein is an apparatus for manufacturing a transparent conductive layer. The apparatus includes a transparent substrate, a longitudinal direction of which is arranged in an X axis direction. Jetting means jets a conductive polymer solution, containing ions, onto a first surface of the transparent substrate in a Y axis direction. A wire is spaced apart from a second surface of the transparent substrate by a predetermined distance and arranged in a Z axis direction. Voltage application means generates electric attractive force between the wire and the conductive polymer solution by applying a potential having polarity opposite to that of the ions to the wire. The apparatus adds ions to the conductive polymer solution, and employs a wire to which a potential having polarity opposite to that of the ions is applied, thus obtaining the advantage that the target substrate can be uniformly coated with the conductive polymer solution.

摘要: A device and method for providing an optical guide of a pixel to guide incoming light to/from a photo-conversion device of the pixel to improve the optical crosstalk immunity. The optical guide includes an optically reflecting barrier formed as a trench filled with a material which produces reflection. The trench fill material may have an index of refraction that is less than the index of refraction of the material used for the trench surrounding layers to provide a light reflective structure or the trench fill material may provide a reflection surface.

摘要: A device and method for providing an optical trench structure for a pixel which guides incoming light onto the photosensor of the pixel. The optical trench structure has an optically reflecting barrier that substantially mitigates optical crosstalk. The optical trench structure is made of low dielectric constant material with an index of refraction that is less than the index of refraction of the material of surrounding layers (e.g., the substrate). This difference in refractive index causes an internal reflection into an optical path existing between a lens and pixel.

摘要: Methods, apparatuses, and systems for scene adaptive lens shading correction. One or more gain adjustment surfaces calibrated to a reference illuminant type is stored. At least one scene adjustment surface, which varies as a function of the illuminant type, is stored for each additional illuminant type for which lens shading correction is desired. Additionally, an imaging device with a color image sensor may define a gain adjustment surface and a scene adjustment surface for each of the color channels of the image sensor. Scene adaptive lens shading correction entails determining an illuminant type for a captured image, selecting a scene adjustment surface based on the determined illuminant type, and processing the image using a gain adjustment surface modified by the scene adjustment surface.

摘要: Methods, apparatuses and systems are disclosed for providing pixel value corrections in accordance with the focal length of a variable focal length lens used to capture an image. Two or more adjustment surfaces, each corresponding to a focal length of said lens, are stored. If an image is captured using a focal length of the lens which does not correspond to a stored adjustment surface, an interpolated or extrapolated adjustment surface is determined and applied to a captured image.
