The apparatus includes a controller, a note manager, a display unit, and an input unit. The controller controls an E-book application that loads a book file and outputs book contents. The note manager manages an E-note application that generates an E-note corresponding to the book file when loading the book file. The display unit displays contents of the book file and the E-note. The input unit inputs notes regarding the book file into the E-note.
