A security management server includes an input unit for receiving image data from at least one network camera; a control unit for assigning an access authority level to each image data received via the input unit; and a storage unit for storing therein the image data along with the access authority levels assigned by the control unit. When receiving a request for a specific image data among the image data stored in the storage unit from a user having a user access authority level, the control unit compares the user access authority level and the access authority level assigned to the specific image data, and based on comparison result thereof, selectively provides the specific image data to the user.

An image photographing device of an object tracking system includes: an image recognizing module for collecting image information within a field of view (FOV) region in real time, recognizing occurrence of an event from the collected image information to extract an object contributing to the occurrence of the event, and sensing whether the extracted object is out of the FOV region or not. The device further includes an object tracking module for extracting property of the object from the extracted object to generate metadata, storing the metadata in a database, and providing the metadata stored in the database to ambient image photographing devices based on the sensing result of the image recognizing module.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a global navigation satellite system (GNSS) based positioning system and tracking method using a data communication network. When a GNSS-based positioning device is connected to a data communication network, the positioning device transfers the GNSS digital data and supplementary information used for additional performance improvement to a location tracking server through the data communication network, the location tracking server calculates a position of the positioning device with improved receiver sensitivity based on plentiful computational resources available at the location tracking server. Thus, the positioning device may find its location of even in very poor signal condition. Further, the present invention provides a positioning system and method using a data communication network, which may achieve time synchronization when there is a need to extract not only position information but also absolute timing information.

Disclosed is a chip equalization apparatus and method thereof, which selects some clusters with high signal power among broadcast signal clusters continuously received in multi-path channels to extract a plurality of cluster signals, equalizes each of the input cluster signals, and combines all equalization outputs again, thereby leading to low power consumption and efficient equalization. The chip equalization apparatus for use in a satellite broadcasting receiving system comprising: a cluster signal extracting part for extracting a plurality of cluster signals from received broadcast signals; and a plurality of chip equalizers receiving cluster signals from the cluster signal extracting part and updating tap coefficients to compensate the broadcast signals.

An apparatus for protecting privacy information of a surveillance image includes a key management unit for generating and managing keys used to unmask a masked input image; an input image processing unit for unmasking the input image using the keys, decoding the unmasked input image to acquire an uncompressed image data, and then applying a second masking on an area containing privacy information of the image data. Further, the apparatus for protecting the privacy information of the surveillance image includes an image recording unit for encoding the image data to which the second masking has been applied to store the encoded image data.

Provided are a method and an attestation system for preventing an attestation replay attack. The method for preventing an attestation replay attack in an attestation system including an attestation target system and an attestation request system, the method including: measuring associated components when an event that affects the integrity of the attestation target system occurs; perceiving own identity information and verifying the perceived identity information; extending the measured component and the identity information into a register and logging the measured component and the identity information; generating an attestation response message including values of the log and the register when an attestation request message is received from the attestation request system; and transmitting the generated attestation response message to the attestation request system. Therefore, the method and an attestation system may be useful to provide an additional simple mathematical operation in verifying an attestation message by preventing an attestation replay attack, and thus to minimize performance degradation in the attestation system, compared to the conventional attestation processing mechanisms.
