Abstract:
A method and apparatus of a first device for selecting at least one of a plurality of second devices to be accessed. The method includes transmitting pieces of media data to the corresponding plurality of second devices one-to-one, and determining at least one of the plurality of second devices to be accessed by the first device according to a user's selection on the basis of the pieces of media data being reproduced by both the first device and each of the plurality of second devices.
Abstract:
A method is provided for supporting mobility of a Mobile Node (MN) in a multi-hop Internet Protocol (IP) network, in which an MN that has moved from a source Personal Area Network (PAN) to a target PAN, sends a Router Solicitation (RS) message with an option for requesting its profile to a gateway of the target PAN, and receives a Router Advertisement (RA) message from the gateway in response to the RS message. The RA message includes a home prefix of the MN as the requested profile. The method supports mobility of MNs, enables unicast communication, and facilitates efficient use of the network.

Abstract:
Disclosed is an organic light emitting diode display and method for minimizing a change of a driving current of R, G, and B organic light emitting diode devices to improve a display quality when a temperature within a panel is changed and an organic light emitting diode device is degraded.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for performing Internet browsing, in which a remote communication-enabled device accesses Internet, and connects a web browsing device to the Internet through local communication. The remote communication-enabled device additionally transmits control commands and input information for controlling a web browser to the web browsing device, which in turn runs a web browser using the received control information.
Abstract:
A method and system are provided for automatic wireless connection to a digital device in a portable terminal, wherein information about the portable terminal is acquired. The information about the portable terminal is commonly used for automatic wireless connection to the digital device. A state of a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) is checked and activated, and the WLAN is set to an Ad-hoc mode. A Service Set Identifier (SSID) of the WLAN is set using the acquired portable terminal information, a security key of the WLAN is set using the acquired portable terminal information, and an Internet Protocol (IP) address of the WLAN is automatically set using the acquired portable terminal information.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method support bidirectional pairing between devices. A connectable peripheral device is discovered. A list of discovered connectable peripheral devices is displayed. When a peripheral device is selected from the displayed list of the discovered connectable peripheral devices, an indicator operation request message for operating an indicator of the selected peripheral device is generated and transmitted to the selected device. The selected peripheral device operates the indicator according to the indicator operation request message to indicate a connection request from the device.
Abstract:
A presentation control system and method are provided, in which a first terminal is connected to a second terminal to control displaying of a presentation file stored in the second terminal. The first terminal controls execution of the presentation file in the second terminal, controls execution of switching between slide pages included in the presentation file in the second terminal, and controls closing of the presentation file in the second terminal.
Abstract:
A method is provided for registering a mobile router in an Internet Protocol version 6 over Low power Wireless Personal Area Network (6LoWPAN) network. The mobile router detects movement into a wireless network through the reception of a beacon message, and sends a Router Solicitation (RS) message requesting registration in the wireless network to a gateway. The gateway acquires an address of the mobile router from the RS message, stores the acquired address, assigns a new address to be used in the wireless network to the mobile router, and sends a Router Advertisement (RA) message with assigned address information and gateway address information, to the mobile router. The mobile router acquires the assigned address information and the gateway address information from the RA message.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method for transmitting multi-protocol label switching (MPLS) multicast packets over Ethernet are provided. The apparatus and method determine whether a received packet is an MPLS multicast packet; determine whether an address of the received packet exists in a database storing address information for MPLS multicast packet transmission; determine which node the MPLS multicast packet whose address exists in the database is transmitted to and allocating an MPLS label according to the address of the determined node; and map the allocated MPLS label to an Ethernet destination MAC address of the packet in order to realize simple switching by mapping an MPLS label, rather than a conventional IP address, to an Ethernet destination medium access control (MAC) address, thereby utilizing advantages of an MPLS network.
