摘要: A Intelligent Mobile HotSpot (IMHS) comprises a wide area network radio interface configured to enable communications between a wide area network and the IMHS; a local area network radio interface configured to enable communications between the IMHS and a computing device; a power input configured to cause the IMHS to be powered on; memory configured to store instructions; and a processor coupled with memory, the instructions configured to cause the processor to perform the following in response to an activation of the power input: automatically establish a data connection with a base station associated with the wide area network over the wide area network, automatically establish a data connection with computing device over the local area network, and be in a ready state to route data packets from the computing device to the base station via the local area network data connection and the wide area network connection.

摘要: A spongy swab (16) is mounted against the distal face (15) of a piston (14) at the end of a push-rod (12). Once humected with a sample fluid, the swab and piston assembly is inserted into a tubular body (30) like the plunger of a syringe. As the swab is pushed and squeezed against the distal end (20) of the body up to a trippable stop, part of the fluid is excreted into a chromatographic immunoassay testing device (21) through a first aperture (19) in a distal section of the body. The remainder of the sample is kept in a sealed chamber (7) between the piston and the end wall of the tubular body until it is excreted through a second aperture (23) for a secondary test by pushing the piston beyond the trippable stop. That preserves the sample within the spongy swab that has been used to collect it; thus preventing the adsorption of the analytes on the surfaces of the sealed chamber, and to provide a convenient and rapid way to extract the remainder of the specimen in a syringe-like manner.

摘要: The invention is directed to techniques for monitoring and testing publish/subscribe network systems. For example, an enterprise network that has a number of geographically dispersed network devices and interconnected sub-networks may be configured to operate as a publish/subscribe network system in which each of the dispersed network devices sends and receives messages for specific groups of the network devices. The techniques described herein enable data object capture and analysis in the application layer of a publish/subscribe network system using shim adapters. The techniques also enable network packet capture and analysis in the network layer of a publish/subscribe network system. Furthermore, the techniques include integrated analysis of testing results from the application layer and the network layer to determine performance characteristics, such as latency, across both of the layers. In this way, the techniques provide more accurate measurements of performance characteristics in publish/subscribe network systems.

摘要: Methods, systems, devices and computer programs for configuring nodes on a wireless network can include generating a security key for the network, setting the security settings on the access point based on the security key, and saving the security key in a profile data file on a removable memory device along with a portable configuration utility for using the profile data file for configuring other nodes on the network. The removable memory device can then be inserted into other nodes and the portable configuration utility can be run to match the same key on the other network nodes based on the information stored in the profile data file on the removable memory device.

摘要: The invention relates to word line drivers found in embedded dynamic random access memories (DRAM) of application specific integrated circuits (ASICs). The invention is a method of programming the time at which the boosted voltage interval begins, and the period during which the boosted voltage is maintained. The result is the ability to apply the boosted voltage only when needed, thus minimizing the danger to the oxide integrity. The method comprises initiating an active row cycle in response to a leading edge of a row activation signal, initiating a precharge cycle in response to a trailing edge of the row activation signal, the precharge cycle comprising a broad line boost interval initiated by the falling edge of the row activation signal and having a predetermined duration controlled by a programmable delay circuit.
