摘要: An apparatus for containing a fluid for human consumption includes a container. A spring is attached to a screw on type of lid disposed at the top of the container. A support member of a bobble head engages a top of the spring. A hole is provided in the container that is adapted to receive a straw. The support member is attached to a head. The spring supports the head above the lid so it can bobble from side to side, twist around a center axis, or bob up and down. The head is urged downward and protrusions and recesses in the support member and lid act like gear teeth to engage with each other and permit rotating the head and lid simultaneously to either loosen or tighten the lid. A modified threaded container having a lower and upper half is also described.

摘要: Described herein is an implementation for exposing an “execution context” to a logical execution flow of procedures as it executes. An “execution context” is a set of data and/or sub-procedures that might be useful at some point during a logical execution flow (to manage and control the execution flow and provide additional services to the execution flow) of computer-executable instructions though the often complex, intertwined, and interconnected conglomeration of procedures of software product(s)

摘要: Systems and methods provide for the rewriting and transformation of a code unit through an extensible, composable, set of code rewriters that can be implemented at various phases throughout the development, deployment, and execution of the code unit. The described systems and methods provide a powerful way for program developers and system administrators to implement code transformations at different stages throughout the development, deployment, and execution of programs that is largely independent of such programs and does not significantly increase the complexity of the source programs, compilers, or execution environments.

摘要: An apparatus for providing illumination includes a lower underlying layer that is attached to an upper surface layer. The upper surface layer includes any desired material that can be stepped on and used as the upper surface of a doormat. The underlying layer includes circuitry and wiring for conveying electrical energy from a battery to at least one light attached to the apparatus upon the activation of a sensor sufficient to illuminate the light, a portion of the upper surface layer, and a portion of the area disposed above the upper surface layer. A plurality of light emitting diodes are the preferred type of the light. An optional timer and other optional components and features are discussed. Various types of construction are described depending on whether the underlying layer is opaque or transparent or if a prior art type of doormat is to be included as a component of the apparatus.

摘要: A system and method for providing a pluggable channel that can be employed to customize data communications associated with a remote method call is provided. The system includes a pluggable channel that can interact with sinks (e.g., message sinks, security sinks, transports sinks) that implement object-oriented interfaces that can be employed by a distributed object system. The system also includes a selector that can select and associate sinks with the pluggable channel, which facilitates providing a customized, pluggable channel on a per proxy basis.

摘要: A versioning policy included in a target component indicates how the target component is to be accessed, for example, either as a library component or a platform component. A component may be designated as a library component when it is not versioned in a binary compatible manner. When other components request such a component they receive specifically the version of the component they requested. On the other hand, a component may be designated as a platform component when it is versioned in a binary compatible manner. When other components request such a component they may receive the latest upgraded version of the component requested instead. Thus, access to an appropriate version of the component (even a version differing from the requested version) is facilitated. Other embodiments include mechanisms for stratifying component scope based on different processing levels.

摘要: A web service description language with object extensions provides type-centric extensions to web service description languages in order to describe and implement a type-centric, object-model agnostic, web service description. By implementing the constructs described herein, a heterogeneous distributed computing environment can implement rich type-centric services. For example, in a graph description, a type description indicates whether a type is encoded as a reference or embedded within another type. In a service reference description, a type description indicates whether a type is remoted by value or by reference. A type description indicates that a service extends another service, a service implements an interface (potentially multiple interfaces), a field of a type (including interfaces) is a reference type, a constant value field, or a bit field type that defines enumerations with associated values.

摘要: In a distributed computing system containing multiple entities such as servers and clients, an object passed between the entities is attached with metadata identifying the type of the object and/or types and values of properties associated with the object. Before the object is passed to an entity in the distributed computing system, the object may be serialized into a data format that the receiving entity can understand.
