The method comprises storing, in the memory, a plurality of fuel price data items, each fuel price data item being associated with at least one product and at least one retail fuel location and receiving, as input to the processor, configuration data associated with the user, the configuration data indicating fuel price data to be displayed to the user. The fuel price data items are processed, by the processor, and the configuration data to determine the fuel price data and the fuel price data is displayed, on a display device coupled to the computer, based upon the configuration data.

    摘要： A digital data processing apparatus has two functional units (e.g., a host processing section and a peripheral device) and a controller for transferring information therebetween. The first functional unit generates a send message descriptor block ("MDB") signal specifying one or more addresses in an associated local memory from which data is to be transferred. The second functional unit generates a receive MDB signal specifying one or more locations in its associated local memory to which data is to be transferred. The controller matches send and receive MDB signals, particularly, those specifying the same logical or virtual channel. Once a match is found, the controller transfers data between the respective memory locations of the first and second functional units. A controller as described above transfers data between the host and peripheral processors by directly accessing data in their respective "memory spaces."

    摘要： Method and apparatus for detecting objects. In one embodiment, a person entering a secured zone is illuminated with low-power polarized radio waves. Differently polarized waves which are reflected back from the person are collected. Concealed weapons are detected by measuring various parameters of the reflected signals and then calculating various selected differences between them. These differences create patterns when plotted as a function of time. Preferably a trained neural network pattern recognition program is then used to evaluate these patterns and autonomously render a decision on the presence of a weapon.
