    摘要: Combinational networks may provide simultaneous connectivity over networks of different type between User Equipment of an A-party and B-party. A communication session, comprising a circuit switched call and one or more packet switched sessions, may be deployed simultaneously over different network types, in relation to the same User Equipment. The circuit switched call and the packet switched session may be correlated. As to retrieve the packet switched address of a circuit switched call partner, a retrieval for a packet switched network address is initialized by means of a circuit switched protocol over a circuit switched network. The address retrieval request is directed to the call partner or a network node that accomplishes the network address request.

    摘要: Means and methodology for a SIP Invite receiving node to withdraw from the SIP session set-up loop by replying a redirect message to the SIP Invite sending node. The redirect message contains information for setting up alternative SIP session, said information being available in the SIP Invite receiving node. This information is needed by the SIP invite sending node for establishing an alternative SIP session as well as information needed by other nodes and applications further on in the SIP session set-up loop. The SIP Invite sending node is specially adapted to retrieve the information from the redirect message for establishing a new SIP session based on and containing the information from the redirect message. Several implementations are given for use in an IP Multimedia Subsystem of a telecommunication network.

    摘要: The present invention provides a primary modem-router for enabling communication between user equipment and a home network. The primary modem-router comprises an access communication unit for enabling a connection with said home network, and a wireless communication unit. The primary modem-router further comprises a line monitoring unit for monitoring connection quality of the connection with the network. The line monitoring unit provides a connection failure signal upon detection of insufficient connection quality. A processing unit of the primary modem-router is arranged for receiving the connection failure signal, and for establishing a wireless connection with a further modem-router unit upon receipt of this signal. This enables communication with the home network. The invention further provides an access node and method of enabling communication with a network.

    摘要: Combinational networks may provide simultaneous connectivity over networks of different type between terminals. Communication sessions on different network types such as Circuit switched and Packet switched, belonging to the same user equipment can be correlated. In case a communication session on a circuit switched network is halted by a supplementary service e.g. at an event such as acceptance of Call Hold, a communication session on a correlated packet switched network should be halted as well. A user equipment that detects the event sends a halt message to the circuit switched network and a message to the packet switched network or a session state manager node. The session state manager node either forwards the halt-message to the packet switched network, or sends a halt-message to the packet switched network when the packet switched network does not notify that a halt has occurred.
