摘要： An optical disc drive for marking a label side of a lightscribe disc is provided. The optical disc drive includes a metallic plate, a spoke detecting device and a spindle motor PCB. The spoke detecting device is used for detecting spoke patterns on the lightscribe disc. The spindle motor PCB is supported on the metallic plate and having a notch such that a receptacle is defined by sidewalls of the notch and a surface of the metallic plate. The spoke detecting device is received in the receptacle such that the spoke detecting device is separated from the lightscribe disc by a specified gap.

摘要： The disclosure relates to a signal transmitting apparatus. The signal transmitting apparatus includes a conductor, a first and a second circuit boards, and a signal transmitting medium that is electrically interconnected between the first circuit board and the second circuit board. The signal transmitting medium includes a ground wire and an insulating layer wrapping the ground wire, wherein at least an end portion of the ground wire is not wrapped by the insulating layer and is bent to overlap the insulating layer and electrically connected to the conductor via a conductive adhesive material so as to conduct the electrostatic charges accumulated in the signal transmitting medium to the conductor as a ground.

摘要： The present invention relates to an antistatic structure for an optical disc device. An optical pick-up unit module of an optical disk device is installed on a chassis and the chassis is movably installed in a lower cover of the device. Furthermore, the antistatic structure includes at least one upper connecting portion capable of contacting with the optical pick-up unit module and at least one lower connecting portion capable of contacting with the lower cover. Whereby, the static electricity generated by the optical pick-up unit module can be conducted to the lower cover through the upper and lower connecting portions so as to attain the antistatic discharge (ESD) protection effectively.

摘要： A recording and reproducing apparatus includes a tray disposed within an outer casing and movable along a tray moving direction between retracted and extended positions. A positioning structure includes a locking member fixed on the outer casing, and a support member for immobilizing the locking member with respect to the outer casing in such a manner that the locking member extends upwardly into the outer casing to prevent movement of the tray with respect to the outer casing. A protrusion portion of the outer casing surrounding the locking member and extending in the moving direction defines the support member.

摘要： An optical disc drive including a case, a tray, a turntable, a pickup head, a transmission mechanism, and a protecting cover is provided. The tray is movably set inside the case. The turntable is embedded in the tray. The pickup head is movably embedded in the tray. The transmission mechanism is embedded in the tray and connected to the pickup head. And the protecting cover is set on the tray and covers the transmission mechanism. The protecting cover has a protruding structure located on the surface of the protecting cover that corresponds to a non-data area of an optical disc. Moreover, the tray has a protruding structure located on the surface of the tray adjacent to the protecting cover. Furthermore, pads could be substituted for the abovementioned protruding structures.

摘要： This invention discloses a lock mechanism. The lock mechanism comprises a tray, a locking element, a solenoid, a linked apparatus, a first arm and a boss. The locking element has a protrusion and is rotably fixed on the tray. The solenoid is fixed on the tray and supplies a magnetic force to an active block. The linked apparatus is connected with the active block of the solenoid and is rotably fixed on the tray to push the locking element. The first arm is rotably fixed on the tray to push the linked apparatus and has a protruding rib to push against the protrusion of the locking element. The boss cooperates with the locking element when the tray is loaded. According to this mechanism, the sounds resulted from the locking element and the first arm are happened at the same time.
