摘要： A method of driving a display panel includes outputting a data voltage of a first-eye data frame to a plurality of data lines of the display panel in a first normal frame, and outputting a partial line data voltage of the first-eye data frame to a first partial line of the plurality of data lines of the display panel in a first partial frame, where a polarity of the partial line data voltage of the first-eye data frame in the first partial frame is substantially the same as a polarity of the data voltage of the first-eye data frame outputted to the first partial line of the plurality of data lines in the first normal frame, and where an interval of the first partial frame is less than an interval of the first normal frame.

摘要： A display device includes a display panel having gate lines and data lines, a signal controller driving the display panel, a graphic processing unit transmitting input image data to the signal controller, a gate driver driving the gate lines, and a data driver driving the data lines. The display panel is driven at a first frequency when displaying a moving image and driven at a lower frequency when displaying a still image. The signal controller includes a frame memory storing the input image data, a calculator calculating a representative value of image data stored in the frame memory, a line memory storing the representative value, and a kick-back corrector generating auxiliary image data by correcting the representative value according to a kick-back voltage. The data driver applies an auxiliary voltage corresponding to the auxiliary image data to the data lines in a vertical blank period when displaying the still image.

摘要： In a display apparatus, an interface unit receives N image signal groups each including i×j image signals from an external video system, wherein N is a natural number equal to or greater than 2. A display panel includes data lines, gate lines, and pixels to display images. The display panel includes N display areas each having a resolution of i×j, and the N display areas are extended along a vertical direction and sequentially arranged along a horizontal direction. The N display areas display the images corresponding to the N image signal groups input through the N interface units, respectively. Thus, although the display apparatus has an ultra high-definition resolution, a frequency for transmission of the image signals may be prevented from being increased, so that no additional memories are required.

摘要： An image processing system using vector pixel is disclosed. The system includes a vector pixel with 1 byte, a data unit structure, a data portion, a file generation unit, and a data processing unit. The vector pixel with 1 byte is configured such that, in the low 4 bits, a vector information portion is positioned, and information of one of 8 vectors, up, down, left, right, up-left, up-right, bottom-left, and bottom-right vectors, with respect to X- and Y-axis, is stored. The data unit structure forms a partial image by combining the vector pixel, and has a boundary indicator for indicating the boundary of the partial image at the end of the data unit structure. The data portion forms a complete image by combining the data unit, and has a terminator for indicating the termination of the complete image at the end of the data portion. The file generation unit forms the data portion according to a specific command, and generates/stores a computer image file based on the data portion. The data processing unit processes direction indication according to vector information of the image file generated by the file generation unit and forms an image based on the direction indication process. The system can reduce the size of image data to be stored in a computer's storage memory, such as the main memory and a storage disk, image processing speed can be enhanced and data communication time can be shortened.
