Disclosed is a composition containing carbon nanotubes which meets all of the following conditions (1) to (4). (1) When observed via transmission electron microscopy, at least 50 out of every 100 carbon nanotubes are double-walled carbon nanotubes. (2) The carbon nanotubes have an average outer diameter in the range of 1.0 to 3.0 nm. (3) During thermogravimetric analysis under atmosphere at a temperature increase rate of 10° C./minute, a high temperature combustion peak is at 700 to 850° C., and the relationship between low temperature weight loss (TG(L)) and high temperature weight loss (TG(H)) is TG(H)/(TG(L)+TG(H))≧0.75. (4) The composition containing carbon nanotubes has a volume resistance value between 1.0×10−2 Ω·cm and 1.0×10−4 Ω·cm, inclusive. The disclosed composition containing carbon nanotubes primarily has double-walled carbon nanotubes with high electrical conductivity and high heat resistance.

An exhaust gas purification control device for an internal combustion engine is provided with: a detection unit for detecting an air-fuel ratio or rich/lean state of exhaust gas that flows out of a first catalyst disposed at upstream side; estimating unit for estimating the oxygen adsorption amount on the first catalyst and a second catalyst; and an enrichment control unit for enriching or set the degree of richness temporarily by varying the degree of richness of injected fuel when the amount of the oxygen adsorption on the first catalyst and the second catalyst is estimated to be equal to or greater than a predetermined value. The enrichment control unit sets the degree of richness of the injected fuel to a first degree of richness that is greater than stoichiometry from the start of the enrichment process, and maintains the first degree of richness even after the output of the detection unit has reached a stoichiometric air-fuel ratio or rich/lean value.

Provided is a process for producing a dispersion liquid of carbon nanotube aggregates in which the carbon nanotube aggregates are dispersed in a dispersion medium, comprising the two steps: (A) a step of adsorbing a dispersant to carbon nanotube aggregates by physical dispersion treatment in a dispersion medium to prepare a carbon nanotube paste with a particle size of 100 nm to 20 μm resulting from partial dissociation of a mass of the carbon nanotube aggregates; and (B) a step of dispersing the carbon nanotube paste by ultrasonic dispersion treatment. A process for producing a dispersion liquid of carbon nanotube aggregates with reduced destruction and breakage of graphite structure of a carbon nanotube aggregate can be provided.
