In one example, a process includes receiving an advertisement request from a first user of a social networking system, the advertisement request including an advertisement and at least one social targeting criterion associated with the advertisement. The social targeting criterion may include an indication to target second users of the social networking system having a direct or first degree of connection to the first user. The process may further determine one or more attributes of the first users; for example, identifying one or more second users having a first degree of connection to the user. In other examples, the targeting criterion may include targeting second users having a second degree of connection relative to the first user, targeting second users of one or more social groups of the first user, or combinations thereof.

Interaction data may include past interactions with an advertisement by a user, and along with associated user data (e.g., demographic data, social data, etc.), and advertisement data (e.g., advertisement details and targeting criteria), can be used by an adaptive algorithm to identify patterns between user data and advertising data to increase the chances of a desired interaction when placing advertisements to users. The adaptive algorithm may include one or more of an adaptive pattern matching algorithm, regression analysis algorithm, neural network algorithm, or genetic algorithm.

    摘要: A memory built-in self test (MBIST) apparatus and method for testing dynamic random access memory (DRAM) arrays, the DRAM arrays in communication with a memory interface device that includes interface logic and mainline chip logic. The MBIST apparatus includes a finite state machine including a command generator and logic for incrementing data and addresses under test and a command scheduler in communication with the finite state machine. The command scheduler includes resource allocation logic for spacing commands to memory dynamically utilizing DRAM timing parameters. The MBIST apparatus also includes a test memory storing subtests of an MBIST test. Each of the subtests provides a full pass through a configured address range. The MBIST apparatus further includes a subtest pointer in communication with the test memory and the finite state machine. The finite state machine implements subtest sequencing of each of the subtests via the subtest pointer.

    摘要: A computationally efficient analytical method determines when two quadric surfaces, such as ellipsoids surfaces, share the same volume by adding an extra dimension to the solution space for providing extradimensional product matrices defining degenerate quadric surfaces. The method then examines computed eigenvalues associated the product matrices to determine when the two quadric surfaces share the same volume or when surface projected areas based on viewing angle share the same area. The method provides direct share volume results based on comparisons of the eigenvalues that can be rapidly computed. The method can be use for collision avoidance detection where the objects are modeled by quadric surfaces.
