摘要: The system provides a gestural interface to various visually presented elements, presented on a display screen or screens. A gestural vocabulary includes ‘instantaneous’ commands, in which forming one or both hands into the appropriate ‘pose’ results in an immediate, one-time action; and ‘spatial’ commands, in which the operator either refers directly to elements on the screen by way of literal ‘pointing’ gestures or performs navigational maneuvers by way of relative or “offset” gestures. The system contemplates the ability to identify the users hands in the form of a glove or gloves with certain indicia provided thereon, or any suitable means for providing recognizable indicia on a user's hands or body parts. A system of cameras can detect the position, orientation, and movement of the user's hands and translate that information into executable commands.

摘要: A control system for steering at least one vehicle including a first plurality of sensors operably coupled to a respective wheel of the vehicle, a second plurality of sensors operably coupled to a respective input device, and a vehicle controller. The vehicle controller is operably coupled to the sensors and each respective wheel for controlling the velocity of each wheel to achieve a desired speed and direction based on the data signals received from the sensors. The vehicle controller controls the velocity of each wheel independently to achieve the desired speed and direction of the vehicle.

摘要: A wheel assembly for a wheeled vehicle utilizes interchangeable wheel hubs to secure various types of tires to provide better performance and maintenance on the vehicles. The design of the hubs is such that fabrication costs are reduced as well as costs for maintaining wheel inventories. The hubs are designed with locking elements and shoulders to ensure that tires are effectively secured in the wheel assembly. The hub is configured so that replacement of worn tires is done quickly, without having to touch the wheel bearings or drain the lubricant.

摘要: A roller coaster includes a plurality of ride vehicles that ride along a track. Each vehicle provides seating for at least one passenger. The track is elevated off the ground and includes a variety of hills, curves, loops, rolls, drops, inversions and the like. The vehicles are totally enclosed and preferably designed to represent a space capsule. Sight line controls and a yaw mechanism are used at the load platform to prevent passengers from seeing the other ride vehicles. In addition, the track at the load platform is angled upwards to allow for easy access to the ride vehicles. Portals in the cabin are designed to control sight lines to focus the passengers' attention on show elements that are placed along the track. An on-board audio system enhances the realism of the ride experience. Adjustable restraint systems are provided in each vehicle to keep the passengers in their seats and inside the vehicle during the ride.
