Abstract:
A method for producing a molded product of integral-skin polyurethane foam, which comprises reacting and curing (1) a high molecular weight polyol comprising, as the main component, a polyoxyalkylene polyol having, as the main constituent, oxyalkylene groups of at least 3 carbon atoms and oxyethylene groups at its molecular terminals with the overall oxyethylene group content being not higher than 15% by weight and having a hydroxyl value of not higher than 80, (2) a crosslinking agent containing a compound having an aromatic nucleus and at least two active hydrogen-containing groups selected from the group consisting of hydroxyl groups, primary amino groups and secondary amino groups, and (3) a polyisocyanate, in a mold in the presence of a catalyst and a hydrogen atom-containing halogenated hydrocarbon foaming agent.
Abstract:
A management device and management method capable of improving usability of a storage system is proposed. The management device and the management method for managing data migration between volumes in a storage system in which normal volumes to which fixed storage areas are allocated in advance and virtual volumes to which storage areas are dynamically allocated according to use status coexist as types of volumes for reading and writing data is arranged so that information regarding each volume is collected, and based on the collected information, at least a total logical capacity that is a summation of logical capacities determined in advance for the respective volume is separately displayed for normal volumes and virtual volumes.
Abstract:
A storage resource management system includes a storage apparatus having one or more pieces of volumes and a management computer. The management computer holds volume characteristic information and use field sort volume information. The management computer executes a single use field portion allocating sequence for allocating the use fields to volumes having volume characteristics suitable for a single use field from volume characteristics described in the use field sort volume information, and also, executes a plural use fields common portion allocating sequence for allocating volumes having volume characteristics suitable for the plural use fields to any use field. Since the sequences are executed by the management computer, such a use field sort volume allocation information is formed which has described that one use field in maximum is allocated to the volume, namely one use field is allocated thereto, or none of these use fields is allocated to the volume.
Abstract:
This application provides a method for mutagenesis of a gene, which comprises introducing much more point mutations into one strand of double-stranded genomic DNA of cell or organism individual than into another strand. In accordance with such a method, it is now possible to efficiently and effectively construct various useful mutants of microorganisms, cells or organism individuals. It is also now possible by analyzing the mutating conditions of the gene to clarify the mechanism of drug resistance, to estimate the occurrence of a novel insensible microorganism or to develop a drug therefor, to analyze the mutation of an oncogene and the mechanisms of cancer metastasis and increase in malignancy, to develop a therapeutic method using these mechanisms, etc.
