Abstract:
Process for multilayer-lacquering of a substrate in which the outermost layer is prepared by use of a lacquer containing one or several cationic binding agents. It is possible to apply top coat and clear lacquer films based on cationic binding agents.
Abstract:
Aqueous, heat-curable coating compound containing from 38.5 to 80% by weight of one or more film-forming copolymers and/or cocondensates which are emulsifiable in water or rendered water soluble by neutralisation with bases, having a number average molecular weight (Mn) of from 800 to 10,000, a hydroxyl number of from 60 to 390 and an acid number of from 15 to 60, B) from 0 to 25.5% by weight of one or more polyester oligomers having a calculated molecular weight of from 200 to 1000, a hydroxyl number of from 280 to 600 and an acid number of from 0 to 1.5, C) from 3.5 to 40% by weight of one or more amine resin cross-linking agents and D) from 0.5 to 28% by weight of one or more masked polyisocyanates, the percentages by weight of components A) to D) being based in each case on the solids contents by weight of the resins and adding up to 100% by weight, and water and optionally one or more organic solvents, pigments, fillers and/or the conventional auxiliary agents and additives used in lacquers.

C., with the reaction product having a limiting viscosity number of 13.5 to 18.0 ml/g measured in DMF at 20.degree. C.II. 10 to 40 wt. % of one or several blocked polyisocyanates not capable of being diluted with water, andIII. 2 to 30 wt. % of at least one amine resin by way of additional cross-linking agent.
Abstract:
Process for producing storable concentrates for producing paints containing water, undissolved, finely divided, as well as dissolved synthetic resins as paint binders, pigments, optionally paint additives and organic solvents by wet grinding in several stages, wherein(a) in a first grinding stage the undissolved synthetic resins, whereof at least 80% by weight are present with a particle size between 500 .mu.m and 20 mm, mixed with water, the solids content representing 30 to 70% by weight, based on the total mixture quantity, as well as 0 to 60% by weight of dissolved ionic synthetic resins (solids) are ground to a particle size of less than 200 .mu.m and preferably less than 100 .mu.m, and(b) 40 to 100% by weight of the dissolved ionic synthetic resins (solids) and pigments are added and the mixture is ground in a second grinding stage until 95% of all the particles have a particle size of less than 15 .mu.m.
